First off lakers won't finish 7th..2nd kings have not proven for one second they can beat the lakers. They have lost to them thel ast 4 seasons in a row or something like that.Kings alwasy choke when it matters..and i bet they will do the same again this season.

Lakers have that mental edge over kings. You say kings have gotten better which is true..but so has kobe from a year ago and i'm sure shaq will be heathly this season around while he wasn't so much last season.Lakers have the experience to pull through. If lakers don't win it..then spurs will.

    4. Sixers
    5. Nets
    6. Hornets
    7. Bucks
    8. Magic (i wish the wizards would take it)

Orlando, Detroit, New Orleans and Philly will all be eliminated in the first round though i could see detroit beating milwaukee and possibly philly beating new jersey.

    in the west:

    1. Mavs
    2. Kings
    3. Spurs
    4. Blazers
    5. Wolves
    6. Jazz
    7. Suns
    8. Lakers

LA, Phoenix, Utah, and Portland will be eliminated in the first round

no way the lakers even fall to the 8th spot. The Nets wont fall to the 5th spot either. the lowest they go is to the 3rd spot. And they will be tough to beat. Detroit wont lose to the bucks

The Pacers & Pistons are in the same division, therefore it's impossible to have them end up 1 and 2 seeds.

cant say that for sure clyde. detroits deeper but i think milwaukee has a better frontline i think between cassell payton and the masons. detroit will be favored but i think that series is the greatest chance for an upset.

what makes you so sure new jersey wont fall to fifth? theyre colllapsing as we speak. they might even fall further than that. i think philly and boston will end up with better records than them.

LA cant beat Dallas. im sorry but Dallas is an absolute juggernaut this year. shaq will do his damage but theyll shut down kobe and they have enough offense to bury anyone

You might be right on the detroit part. That would be a good matchup.

Jersey is too good a team to fall that far. I think they will get it back together shortly and will stay in the 3rd spot at worst.

LA, right now they can beat anyone. Shaq is getting back to playing great and kobe is better than he has ever been. Dallas defense cant shut anyone down. I am sure you remember early in the year when lakers came back from big to beat the mavs. They wont have to in the playoffs. Lakers dominate that series. But that is assuming lakers even fall that far

LA wont beat Dallas, San Antonio, OR Sacramento. doesnt matter how god kobe and shaq are. they just dont have what it takes as a team to win it all anymore. the dynasty is over

The top 2 seeds in the east will not get knocked out in round one..you must be kidding yourself to think that.As for lakers only team that will give them any kind of problem is the spurs....mavs can't defend..kings are chokers.Webber disapears in the playoffs.

u dont know what youre talking about.. sacramento is cluutch and amazingly talented. if they wernt they wouldnt have won those playoff seriess last year. just cause they lose to the lakers on a fluke doesnt mean they wont beat them this year.

and the top two seeds in the east could easily lose in the first round. thats how close the eastern conferance is. no onbody stands head shoulders abover the rest. you could see detroit losing to milwaukee or indy losing to philly or whathave you. its foolish to think the pistons or anyone in the east is GAURENTEED to win a series in the playoffs.

im sorry but Horry just accidently getting the ball wide open to hit a three to send it to game seven was a fluke. i didnt say the whole series was. and youre nuts if you think bibbys the only reason they got so far. that whole team is a powerhouse. they arent a one/two man show liike the lakers

He wasn't the only reason..but the MAIN part of it..Bibby was the reason they took lakers to 7 games though.

I wouldn't consider that shot a fluke. Horry is a proven clutch shooter. It was lucky as hell he got the ball in that spot, but if the Kings could make a FT in crunch time they would be champs. Both teams made some incredible shots in that series. Maybe we just have different ways of defining what a fluke is.

And I agree Bibby was not the sole reason the Kings made it. They have a stacked team. They can all pass and shoot the lights out.
