exactly, and thats vinces third time in a row scoring 20-30, and a game with 43...you cant respect that? you should respect every player in the nba if youre a basketball fan, you dont necessarly have to like them, or even be a fan. vince is great Its so funny, how ppl think Vince has no potential. They luv TMac yet tmac cant even bring his team out of the first round of the playoffs. Vince did it without TMac, not only that look at the Magic record of 1-9 in the season while the Raps have 5-5. No matter what even if Vince brought his team to the eastern finals, ppl would still hate on him. Its like a stigma he brings. ppl should really watch Raptors games to see, he's really the only one scoring but not only that. He's actually holding back his scoring so he passes to teammates to try to make his whole team better. hes modest too, do u ever hear him complain either? He doesnt complain, only that he wants to silence his critics. He believes in his teammates.. if he really wanted to he could go off for more than 30 points every game but he holds back for the sake of his teammates. The problem is that Vince isnt cocky enough, he doesnt really show off or patronize other players, thats why there is little respect. Plus did u see that HOUSTON game? He was triple teamed throughout. How many players in the league are triple teamed?! Yea ud say a few, but they are triple teamed cuz if they go off thats it. they're gonna win. Vince only seems to have respect from coaches by triple teaming him, but ppl just hate on him all too often. No credit. I bet if he was to play for an american team, he'd be the poster boy of the NBA. But its typical he gets little recognition because he doesnt play for their team.
Personally I don't care what the critics think. All I know is that I saw the guy jump over an erect 7'1 player in an olympic game and dunk. This IS the most difficult dunk ever performed by any player ever. At this point them critics need to stop and say: "oh yeah, I forgot about that one" and quietly be put in their place.
Is there a reason why this old, dead thread was ressurected? And really, who cares what Vince is doing right now? It's still early in the season. Once it gets later and fatigue begins to set in, than we'll see. Plus, in my opinion, well, hell, look at it this way. I want you to name one other player on the Rapters line up that is averaging in double figures? And you wanna know what, that's not possible? Why, cause the 2nd best is just over 7 points. Could this possibly be a reason for his success? Who knows.
