this may be the year the Wolves get out of Round 1. They've played all the top teams tough, 2-2 against Kings, 2-1 against Lakers, beat Mavs twice now, 1-1 against Spurs i think.Beaten the Blazers too I think they'll tough to beat in Round 1.

If they get Homecourt advantage I think they have a shot. But right now they will have to face Portland and possibly the Lakers. I don't see them beating the Lakers, and Portland is tough at home. I think the Wolves are looking at another 1st Round exit. KG gets smothered in those zone defenses and his teammates aren't consistent enough.

I'm with shapecity. I don't think they can hang with either of the top 4 teams in the West. They just don't have what it takes yet. One more year of an improving Nesterovic and they may do it.

if they can get the blazers in the first round, they can win...and i think thats their only hope...they can also beat utah and phoenix, but they cant beat the Lakers, Kings, Spurs, or Mavs in a best of 7...

i don't forsee them being able to matchup with utah and phoenix because i think utah and phoenix are gonna end up in the 7th and 8th spot and there's no way the wolves are gonna make it to 1st or second

Yup I think the Wolves will face the Blazers.. and why did they now decide to make it a best of 7 series??? and Yes I do like it because that means more Basketball.. because just think if all rounds go to 7 games look how long the NBA would be on over the summer [IMG]

I'm with you, I think the Wolves (4th) will face the Blazers (5th) and win their first round series. That's as far as they'll get this year unless the Mavs somehow manage to maintain the number one seed. If so, MVP KG could get to the Western Conference finals.

KG will elevate his game even further in the playoffs(averaging a Triple-Double). If they play the blazers i think the TWolves will have a great chance to move on but all the series will be close in the western conference.

The T wolves will get past the first round if they dont have to vs the Lakers. And the T Wolves have beat the mavs twice this season.

Wolves have a tough schedule the next 3 days.

    Spurs
    Lakers
    Blazers

All are in Minnesota, but this will be a nice test for the Wolves.

It all depends on who they face, if they face spurs, mavs, or kings, i dont think they'll beat them. but there a strong team, they could get by the lakers if they face them, but who knows.
