His natural physical skills are very impressive. He's quick, throws on a rope and on the run, and threw 33 TD's with practically no offensive line. BUT...., there's always a but, he's very raw. He needs some coaching. I think he's about a 50/50 chance of succeeding, but that's just me... he might be too eager and too raw, plus his footwork is lousy.
Plus his over confident attidue may be his downfall if he doesn't succeed when he gets his first chance. I will add it could also be what propels him to the next level.
Have you ever noticed whatever the Bills do that its never wrong? Drafting Magahee? Drafting Lee Evans when they did? Trading for Bledsoe? Well, y'all get the idea.
dude ive said all year losman might be the best qb in the draft, i forgot his name but i always reffereed to him as the guy from tulane. turned out he was taken in the first round and pretty high, well see
It remains to be seen what will happen. Magahee hasn't played one down yet and Losman is very green and wet behind the ears. What will be interesting is to see what Mularkey and Donahoe do with this team. Mularkey will be different than the past 2 coaches.

Mularkey has alot to prove. He's young, relatively unexperienced (as he's never been a head coach) and he runs a relatively unconventional offense. It's funny because no one complained about his calls in '01 and '02 but when he pooched a few calls in '03, he was a horrible OC. I think he's in a good situation in Buffalo. I actually know his wife and the OC's wife Clements, great people. I hope he succeeds in Buffalo despite what the rest of the AFC East thinks.

Losman still remains a very big question mark, but he has done EVERYTHING he can possibly do to set himself up for success this year. Instead of bolting off for southern California, at the end of the season last year, he stays around Buffalo and watches film with Sam Wyche, hits the weights, and the practice field. I for one believe he will be a very pleasant surprise for us at qb after his growing pains are finished (hopefully by week 3 instead of week 12) if it takes too long, look for holcomb to be lined up behind center - we need to make the playoffs this year. 4 months of serious preparation certainly aren't gonna hurt his development. Plus it's gonna really help that we'll be a run first oriented offense and that McGahee is the real deal - btw, McGahee is currently leading a poll at NFL.com about which AFC East RB will lead in yardage. Trading for bledsoe was kind of just a way for us to cover our mediocrity and sell tickets to fill the Ralph. Obviously TD wasn't too thrilled with any of the QB's coming up the college ranks or else we would have spent a draft pick on a rookie qb instead of trade it for one that was on his way to being exiled from New England.
