the problem with indy is clear. its the coach. isiah thomas allowed, nay encouraged his players to let their emotions ocontrol them and not the other way around. he thinks theyre tough and talented enoughto be the new "bad boys" of the league. we knew they wernt tough enough. i guess they arent talented enough either. isiah should be fired
Has any team been in first place in a conference at all-star break (Thomas coached the East) and then fallen out of the playoffs? Not even the great George Karl could match that feat if it comes to fruition.
it's a vicious cycle for the pacers right now. they upstaged the refs and gained the reputation of a dirty team. so the refs are quick to blow the whistles and call fouls on the pacers. the pacers argue with the refs, get T'd up, and upstage the refs. the pacers played great physical defense against the lakers in the 3rd quarter the last time they met without being dirty. i don't see why they can't always play like that. artest obviously needs a STIFF fine. he refuses to clean up his act. anger management hasn't worked, suspensions haven't worked, i say the team or the league should suspend him for the rest of the year. if that doesn't work, kick him out of the league. there's no need for intentionally going after players. he's going to end a player's career at the rate he's going.

maybe last year, the bucks were in the top 3, then they just sucked the 2nd half. magic always blow close games, where were the calls for the magic? (malone 22 ft against the magic)
