Every trade Scottie Pippen was involved in were bad trades:

June 22, 1987 (Draft Night): Scottie Pippen is drafted by the Sonics and traded for Olden Polynice.

January 22, 1999: The Bulls, breaking up their dynasty after Jordan retires, trades Pippen to the Houston Rockets for Roy Rogers.

October, 2, 1999: Rockets trade Pippen to the Blazers for Walt Williams, Stacey Augmon, Kelvin Cato, Ed Gray, Carlos Rogers and Brian Shaw. Williams, Augmon, Gray, and Rogers go on to do practically nothing, Cato had a semi good time, and Shaw ended up being a spark off the bench for the Lakers. Pippen is the veteran voice and a clutch player for the Blazers

Draft Busts from 1991-present (this took me a while...)

1991: Mark Macon: With the 8th pick of the draft the Denver Nuggets draft Mark Macon. The way he played he should?ve been a late 2nd rounder, if even that.
1992: The Bucks select Day with the 8th pick of the draft. He looked alright at first, but went downhill from there. Way downhill.
1993: The LA Clippers select Luther Wright with the 18th pick of the draft. He played some pathetic basketball for two years and nobody wanted him after that.
1994: The New Jersey Nets take Nigerian Yinka Dare with the 14th pick of the draft. He played one game in his rookie season. In 110 career games, he scored 233 points (2.1/game), grabbed 281 boards (2.6/game), and dished out 4 assists (0.04/game)!!
1995: UCLA Bruin Ed O?Bannon had a promising college career. The Nets saw this and selected him with the 9th pick. He missed his home and bombed. He averaged 6.2 pts and 2.6 boards per game, and was traded to Dallas the next year. After the 1996 season, he was out of the NBA.
1996: The Golden State Warriors have the 11th pick. Who is available? Kobe Bryant, Peja Stojakovic, Steve Nash, and Jermaine O?Neal. They take Todd Fuller.
1996: Vancouver Grizzlies draft Roy Rogers out of Alabama with the 22nd pick of the draft. That year he scored 6 pts per game and grabbed 5 boards a game. He went on to have a pathetic career, scoring 5 pts a game and 3.5 boards.
1997: The Warriors draft Adonal Foyle with the 8th pick. He never averaged more than 6 points a game in a season nor more than 7 boards.
1997: With the 21st pick of the draft the New York Knicks select Dontae Jones. They trade him to the Celtics. He plays a year there and averages 3 pts per game and not even a full rebound a game. Wow?.
1998: With the 6th pick of the draft, the Mavs select Robert Traylor. They then trade him for Dirk Nowitzki and Pat Garrity. Traylor had a semi-par career and is now a Hornet.
1998: With the 18th pick, the Rockets select Mirsad Turkcan, he played 17 career games, doing absolutely nothing.
1999: New York Knicks draft Frederic Weis with the 15th pick, passing on Ron Artest. Weis never shows up in America.
2000: No player in this draft has played to the extent that they could from where they were draft. The lottery:The Nets Kenyon Martin number 1, the Grizzlies Stromile Swift number 2, the Clippers (now a Cav) Darius Miles number 3. Biggest steal of the draft? Marko Jaric to the Clippers at number 30, helping them at PG backing up Miller.
2001: With the 8th pick of the draft, the Cavs select Desanga Diop. He has run a pathetic NBA career and the Cavs are now in last place?
2001: With the 21st pick of the draft, the Celtics select Joe Forte. His career has been pathetic as well. No playing time though? but does he deserve it?
    So Far?
2002: With the 2nd pick of the draft, the Bulls select Jay(son) Williams. He doesn?t play too well, mouths off the team, and loses his job to Jamal Crawford, who flourishes.
2002: With the 3rd pick of the draft, the Warriors select Mike Dunleavy. He soon realizes that the team game at Duke is nothing like the NBA and he struggles trying to play a more individual game.
2002: Everybody in this draft has busted except Yao Ming, Amare Stoudemire, Caron Butler. The steal of the draft: Bulls select Lonny Baxter with the 44th pick, he?s done well for the 44th pick.

    There are more, but, yea...

i think busts are really only lottery picks. those are the guys that are expected to contribute, and be primo.

the rest of the first round, players should become decent role players. maybe once in awhile a great steal comes along.

2nd round. like 1/30 can really be a good find.
