Well, it's just been made clear that the Lakers have decided to walk around in the first half of games, and play with some intensity in the second half. This is two nights in a row where their defense has been non-apparent in the first half, and it has magically appeared in the second.

We should be able to survive playing like this against the Clippers, hell...as it's been said, we may only need to play one quarter. But, we can't perform like this against teams like the Kings, Mavs and Spurs. The Lakers are lucky that they weren't down by 30 points at halftime in yesterday's game.

The same players continued to be wide open, and Kukoc, Redd and Thomas just were not missing. The Lakers need to wake up and realize that they need to play an intense 48 minutes, every night on the floor.

    Thoughts?

The Lakers just look bored out there at times and it seems they can't get up for games. Just like Shaq said, "We play at the level of our opponents." Hopefully the motivation comes back once the playoffs start.

one thing that just amazes me is how in the past three years the lakers were the best at defending the threepoint shot. this year, they're what....last??

    Playoffs will start soon.
Lakers are gonna be same old Lakers.
It is gonna be very hard to beat them.
If they win the tittle this year they are gonna be most hated franchise ever.....but I don't care [IMG]

    I just want another ring

Looks like we won't get higher than the 6th seed. The Wolves and Blazers are just playing too well to catch. So Spurs, Mavs, or Kings are looking at a 1st round exit.

    Speaking of Lakers vs. Kings...it's 2morrow! I can't wait!

Even though I don't think this game means that much, I still love to see the Lakers play the Kings in Sacramento. Hopefully, the Lakers will come home with another win!
