Most of the overpayed players have ending contracts.
    Howard,Pippen,Morning,Malone,Stockton have ending contracts.
Grant Hill is so damn overpayed,he is great player bu he is always injured.

Blazers are in deep......I would never like to be their GM.

I think Nuggets have the best salary.
They are gonna get high draft pick and they will drop Howard's sontract.
They are gonna sign at least one superstar.

Detroit has the 4th smallest payroll and they're #1 in the East. Dumars is a surely some sort of god.

knicks are in the deepest though, because at least the blazers have some talent, knicks are paying so many shitty players very good money.

Look at Big Country Bryant Reeves. He's not ever going to play again and he's on the books for 13M this year and 14.5M next year. Those damn guaranteed contracts.

[IMG] It's a bright future. We have already re-signed Clffy though. I hope we can re-sign our free agents, and draft a big man (Chris Kaman maybe?) We are still in need of a SF, but maybe that will come through free agency. Our best players are all signed on for a while at a very fair price. Great management moves.

Detroit has great cap management. They play great without spending as much money as some teams. I agree with big D that we need a SF. Maybe we could land Carmelo in the draft pick that we get from Memphis. That would be the best.

i wouldnt say the east is in trouble. detroit has a good team and likely will for a few years but theyre no superpowe.r theyre having a very good year. some teams are having a very bad year. theres so much parody in the east that no team including the pistons is a garenteed long term contender

KG makes the most money in all of sports, even more than A-Rod. Plus KG's salary gets bigger year after year. He is loaded with $$.

That's how pretty much every contract works. It grows each year.

I think the saddest thing in the NBA right now is that Vin Baker makes more money than Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, Tim Duncan, Jalen Rose and Stephon Marbury. I mean at least Damon and Kemp know how to play basketball.

most of the players that are underpaid are on rookie contracts though, (and will get more when that contract expires) but there are still some who are underpaid and not on rookie contracts.
