You always say how hard the Bears schedule was and how easy the Dolphins schedule was...how about a little proof?

    Is that the secret? Great!!!

Wow, remember that year when the Vikings nearly won? Then there was that other year when we looked sort of good too. Oh...how about that time when the Vikings tried really hard, but still came up short...

Sorry BF, as a Vikings fan, I don't think living in the past will help me, it just make me depressed. Vikings fans need to celebrate the SuperBowl victory yet to come (hopefully)

I'm actually kinda glad I don't. I'm not really old enough to remember any of those Super Bowls. I watched 10 minutes of the Bowl in '80 when the Steelers played the Rams. I was 6.... [IMG] My legacy started in 87' with the drafting of Rod Woodson and I have been a devout fan since... the '95 Super Bowl is as close to elation that I have gotten and that's been 10 years... (almost)

ok then the key to being a fan is living in the future, just not the present unless of course you are a patriots fan, the you should live in january of '86 [IMG]

lol... oh the Bears kicked the crap out of those Pats... but alas that was so long ago. I guess we're forced to live in the future as we are not fans of the Pats, Ravens, Rams, Broncos, Packers, or Tampa. Those are the most recent winners and I want Pittsburgh on that list! I will not rest until we get one for the thumb!

I'm tireless my friend... after being so close in '94, '95, '97, and '01 I can taste it... we'll get there... maybe not in 2-4 years... but then again you never know. Where did New England come from? Where did Baltimore come from? Sometimes it just happens!

Wow...you sound like most Vikings fans. Although, Vikings fans are convinced that the Vikings are the best team around...they just never win the superbowl.

I think I could teach a few fans how to handle losing year after year. Since 1998, I have been living one dissappointment after another. The trick is to blame it on the refs, the weather, injuries and sickness, and most of all, people whose last name ends in Poole. [IMG]

well as nice of a guy as you are vikingfan, i am afraid i can never allow minnesota or detroit to win a super bowl, how can i stop it? well i havent thought that through yet, but for now detroits front office has stopped them for me, and minnesota seems to choke at appropriate time, now if i could just get a sniper within a 1000 yds of farve with an open line of sight . . .

No thanks BF1. I like the present and i feel lucky to be in the prime of my life (24) and being able to experience this success and will never forget the two superbowls we have won. Especially the last one since my father gave the gift of a lifetime by taking me to the superbowl. Now all I can do his hope and trust that Belichick and Tom Brady will not waver from their quest for greatness and can continue to have success so I won't have to be disgruntled like I am after every summer.

You took the words out of my mouth, although I do think at some point it HAS to happen, right? I mean, how many times can a team choke? The Timberwolves are trying to show us that patterns can be broken, although I don't have faith in them either yet. [IMG]

ya their pattern is about 1% of the pattern Cubs and Redsox fans have lived for 162 games every summer. It's almost genetic. Now babies are born in Mass with the expectations of the redsox blowing the big game.

    1. Cheifs winning the bowl (duh!)

    2. Peyton playing a game with Laryngitis, and NO audibles!

    3. Favre breaking Marino's TD record (T. Green would be ok too)

    4. Ray Lewis rearranging T. Owens' facial features for him

    5. Pats out of the playoffs.

    6. Another FFL title for the mighty Cougars!

i like #2 that is a clever thought. if they could keep 11 people together long enough they all could get on same page and audible psychically.

read the quote KCGSC. That says it all and just for wishing that I will laugh as your defense gets shredded all season long. I think they are still having nightmares of Brandon Stokely....ya Brandon Stokely running wild down the seam. Sorry I couldn't help it KCGSC.

I don't know which is more of a dream... 1 or 6? It's going to be one heck of season though... that I guarantee!

All I have to say is watch out for the steelers in 05 or 06, they will be back to the superbowl (and prefferably win it)

    extremely confident fan [IMG]
