Someone in the organization or a fan got a hold of Shaq's 20,000 point game ball and wrote some harsh words on it. What a jerk! Here's the whole article: http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2003/0321/1527668.html You just woke up a sleeping giant Sacramento, as demonstrated by his monster night last night.
haha...i think not. thats exactly what was said when the kings beat the lakers on christmas. scoring 48 on a weakened east team is a lot different from facing the kings D. shaq looks like hes afraid of the kings now which is why hes felt the need to talk so much trash about them all year
Funny, how he says that "whoever did this has no class." He is not one to be talking about class, after all his comments during the season.
I think it was wrong for what they did, BUT, Shaq can NOT talk about somebody NOT having class, with the comments he made about their Manhood, and Bibby making the USA team, in which he was wrong. I think they are both wrong, People who say the Kings are wrong, and Shaq is not, or those who say Shaq is wrong and the Kings were not, they both have no class. I think Shaq was wrong for his comments during the off season/about Mike Bibby, and I also thing the Kings fan was wrong. but its funny though how people trip when the tables get turned..... (as they laughed when Shaq made his comments but they get angry when this is done....)

yea but come one shape, staring directly into the camera and saying TWICE: "the sacramento 'queeens'"

Even if Shaq is disrespecting the Kings and Bibby, I don't think it warrants someone defacing a piece of basketball history. Do you? These players have grown up talking trash and getting called much worse. They are for the most part professional about dealing with the trash talking and just zoning it out. I think whoever defaced the ball stepped over the line.
it doesnt seem that important. i mean a piecec of basketball history is just going a little far, its not like its one of bob pettite's teeth or one of wilt chamberlains illigitamate children or something

Yea, it is just a basketball you guys. And Shaq complaining about a lack of class? Look in the mirror!
talking trash is actually a part of basketball, we see it all the time from nba great Gary Payton. Shaq earned the right by being able to talk trash to any team he wants. Any player that does what he does can call the Sacremento Queen exactly what they are.
thank you i be here all the week. i dont think a bunch of queens could wint he finals wihchc is what sacramento might do this year. talking trash is a part of basketball ON THE COURT, but no coach wants his players running around mouthing off on camera creating a big distraction, thats what shaq did and the lakers struggled mightily at the start of the season
fact of the matter is... you still have to use the terms 'could' and 'might' to describe Sacramento's Championship success...
sure but the fact is they are good enough to do it. its just a quesition of whether they will or not cuz san antonio and dallas may also be goood enough to do it
the kings better watch out for shaq daddy, cause he is pissed. he is gonna want to do everything he can to beat them and everyone knows he's the key in this series. if he's on the kings have no chance.
ooooh shaq is angry oh no! whatever wil the kings do??? shaq can get as mad as he wants its just gonna make him more likely to foul out lessn the refs fall in love with him.
