there are no facts to prove guilt or innocence...the play *looked* like a playaction where Favre rolled out and Strahan was there. That's what happened. Favre didn't make any motions to Strahan to let him know where to be, he didn't run right at him...

Favre rolled out and Strahan was there. Whether Favre ran a play other than what was called can be debated, but never proven unless he admits to it.

He rolled to strahans side, the blocked like the play a regular drop back, so either the Tackle playing that position was to stupid to know how to block on a rollout or it was favre helping his buddy out. The tackle played for the speed rush and allowed strahan around outside to where favre rolled, on a rollout play he would not have done that. It was a handout and he should be banned from HOF induction and visitation.

Or, Bubba, who was on that side was supposed to get a piece of Strahan and tie him up long enough for a short route to develop. Either way, there is not proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Maybe to you, but to many, there wouldn't be. And since it was, what 3 years ago, why does it matter?

man, all i said was favre should get flagged for hitting opponents on the head, and everything but his momma got dragged into it...as far as his using substances, i don't wish that on anyone, and i hope he has beaten it...as for his actions towards certain opponents and not being penalized, that is one reason why i choose to dislike him, and probably wouldn't want him on my team...as good a player as steve smith is, if he continues to act like an angry child, i want him off the team...don't need him kicking the guy who tackled him, like he did in houston...and i know, there are 2 huge differences...smith is not one of the top 5 all time to play his position (favre is), and he got called for unsportsmanlike conduct (favre doesn't)

Its a huge deal if you think a player or 2 conspired to fix a record....if thats true, then the santity of the game was soiled....Ive seen the play many times, and it looked like Favre handed him a late Christmas present....I cant prove it, but I consider myself to be an educated football fan, and I thought he tanked that last sack for him....for the record, other players have been caught doing similar things in other sports, and most recieved lifetime bans for the offense....I ask you this question....What if we find out in 25 years that Favre has a gambling problem and is in debt....then we find out that he made a deal with a bookie to have his debt erased, and in return, Favre makes sure that Strahan gets that sack....thats no different than point shaving, basically winnin the game but skewing the outcome on some level....if pro sports was a fire, that sort of behavior is a big ass bucket of water...so I disagree, its one hell of a big deal!

    i agree and disagree
agree: it is a big deal and there is nothing we can do about it. i, like many other people thought he went down on purpose, but the only person who lknows that is favre.

disagree: just like what staley said, its just a record, it will be beat again, just like almost every record there is, especially now w/ all the steroid problems we got in our country.

It looked awfully suspicious to me. That being said, I am a fan of Favre's. I think he is one of the best.

read the quote KCGSC. That says it all and just for wishing that I will laugh as your defense gets shredded all season long. I think they are still having nightmares of Brandon Stokely....ya Brandon Stokely running wild down the seam. Sorry I couldn't help it KCGSC.</div>

Brandon Stokely made Ty Law look like a fool tonight! Ha ha ha ha ha...

Maybe he'll get the hell off the field next time so he doesn't cost his team a TD.

Honestly speaking here.....I would like to see a good defensive back (Champ Bailey or Roy Williams) break the single season record for interception in one season. 12 or 13......

YES it s a big deal, there should be an astersk besides Stahan sack record. Besides, does anyone else agree with me that the league would have penalized the Quarterback had it been anyone one else than Favre.......if someone is going to break the sack record within 10 years from now, I hope it s Terrell Suggs of the Baltimore Ravens.
