The Atlanta Hawks have been playing spoiler down the stretch.

Here's a list of playoff hopefuls they beat the last couple of weeks.

    Sat 22nd - Pacers
    Fri 21st - 76ers
    Fri 14th - Knicks
    Wed 12th - Bucks

    Upcoming playoff opponents
    ---------
    Lakers
    Pistons
    76ers

Dion Glover, Reef, & Terry have played well in these games, and Ratliff is blocking a lot of shots. However it seems the Hawks play at the level of their opponents and don't have a strong post up presence. Even though they beat those 4 teams, in the same stretch they lost to the Bulls, Raptors, and Grizzlies. The Hawks might want to consider keeping the team together, but trade Big Dog for a defensive stopper. I think the young nucleus of Glover, Terry, & Reef is something the Hawks can build around.

its no question the hawks have alot of talent..they even guaranteed their season ticket holders playoffs or they would refund their money..its hard to believe this talented group of players isnt dominating the east so i question their desire to win

The got tons of talent but not much chemistry + defense. There defense is a big problem. Reef shoots to much threes for a PF. He should battle in the post more.
