what?! let's see him play a full season first. Last time he played more then 60 games (00-01 season) he averaged 27.7
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "thefranchise3":</div><div class="quote_post">If he leaves Toronto, I would hate the raptors.</div> lets put it this way, I woulden't recognise them as my favorite team anymore. :|
TRADE HIM while he has good value...as another bad season and no one will want him..trade him while other teams still want him
don't trade him...wait till the trade deadline to mention trading...maybe they'll do somethin before then
Vince carter sells tickets in canada I dont think he would be traded. Anyway who wants the next Penny Hardaway/Grant Hill?
You guys are talking about trading him, even though you havent seen him play a full good season in years.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "vinsanity03":</div><div class="quote_post">You guys are talking about trading him, even though you havent seen him play a full good season in years.</div> Thats the problem,he hasn't played enough..and by that it has been the raptors downfall by having crap seasons because of this...when your best player is injuried all the time it means that you won't ever have good seasons..you need all your best players heathly in this league to have any kind of success. So thats why he should be traded...he helps sell tickets which is true but he is becoming worthless for the franchise..ask yourself this question..would you rather see vince play great and showboat, see loads of dunks and miss loads of games..or want raptors to win loads of games and get back into the playoffs? i know what i would choose...team success over player sucess anyday.
Antonio McDyess, Dikembe Mutumbo, Grant Hill, Alonzo Mourning. These are great players, but do you give up on them because they are injured? Why is this topic even alive if Vince isnt even injured. The knee must be fine, the ankle wouldnt hurt anymore. If Vince Carter plays mostly all of the games up untill the trade deadline, the i would keep him. Besides, VC isnt going anywhere because he is 'untouchable' and if glen grunwald says he is staying, then he's staying.

The Carter Mcgrady thing was because Tmac wanted all the fame. I think we should base our whole team around melo and carter. I think they would play well together. If we draft Darko or Bosh that would be fantastic because we would have an inside presence. The last time VC played a full season back in 00-01 he averaged basiclly 28 points. Before talking about tradinh him, lets see what he will do that he couldnt before.
