DerMarr Johnson was going to be a key part to the Hawks sucess this year until a fatal care accident September 13th broke 4 vertabre in his neck. He was told by docters last week that he is able to be involved in contact practices and he had his first on Monday. He said of it... " It felt normal. I think the guys wanted me to shoot every time I got the ball. I told them I just want to play ball. I'm not trying to prove anything. I just want to go out there and play.
