Amazing game!! Those were some clutch shots, even if they weren't pretty. Duncan's two misses followed a missed FT by Parker. Suns just plain deserved this one. Should be a great series!!

Great game. I thought Marbury blew it for the suns in OT but he won it with that amazing shot. Amare played great in his first playoff game.

I'd love to see the Suns in the second round as well...

Marbury really hurt the Suns chances in OT, but he made up for it with that last second shot...

    Great game...

    Not really..

... This is not the first time I've seen Duncan choke down the stretch... he is not a clutch guy. A go to guy maybe, but definitely not clutch. I'm not surprised at all that he choked, but more surprised on the overall game..

Amare played great. I think he won ROY with this.

Btw, TP got HARASSED like no other..

Well, I thought Hardaway blew it for the Suns in OT but thanks to some clutch plays the Suns come out with it. This should be a close series and there will be things to look out for (eg. Parker's confidence and game against Marbury, if the suns just fould Duncan and make him shoot from the line, David Robinson cutting to the bsaket if Duncan is double teamed). A good game to watch aswell.

If you choke, you deserve to lose!
I wanted the Spurs to win too!

Duncan wasn't that bad in the clutch-he did get the offensive board that got him to the line.
The final of that game reminded me of the Pacers vs Nets game 5 where Kidd missed the Free Throw and Reggie pulled off a buzzer beater close to half court. Only difference was that it sent the game into OT not won it.

Duncan has choked pleny of times. He does it enough to earn the moniker "Duncan't"

Can anyone other than the Lakers play well in clutch situations? What a horrible league. Shout out to Paul Pierce though, he raises the bar this time of year.

I think a key to the series will be if Duncan is scared to get the ball in the clutch anymore. A great player wont dwell on the past so hopefully Duncan will forget it and play a great rest of the series. However him missing two, wide open, uncontested, free throws in the clutch of the game which if he made his team would have most likely won might be hard to forget

Get your facts right people..duncan normally is clutch..he has hit like 5 or 6 game winners this season...so don't give me well he has chocked before..he has made more bigtime shots/clutch than choked thats for sure.Great shot by marbury though....still in shock the way the game ended

penny hardaway made some terrible decisions for a vet player..but marbury bailed him out in the end

The fact is, Duncan has choked before, most notebaly in the playoffs against the Lakers. For the 5-6 game winners he hit this year, I could probably go back and find twice as many crucial mistakes he made in that series alone.

the suns are not your traditional 8th seed much like the knicks in 99, they were injured and now theyre healty i think they can do some major damage in the playoffs
