from various reliable posters on the clutchcity board, who have inside sources say: "It's still early but there are some tiny rumblings. I heard several weeks ago that Rudy had ALREADY been told that he would not coach the team next year. Whether that means moving up or out, I don't know. Today, I heard from a friend of mine that KNOWS quite a bit, that Rudy will INDEED BE BACK! One of the coaches was told 'we have nothing to worry about!' So, in disgrace, I take back one of my 'Not bad' posts!! This is a very weird situation but from what I hear, Rudy WILL be back and veterans will be brought in. Vague, I know, but I'll explain. As for Cuttino, he says that they will try to move him. Actually, he says that they WILL move him...as they will Eddie. Cato was mentioned as someone who's stock is rising to the point that they are NOT looking to move him. I would say that I agree but my instincts would insist that I vomit on myself for saying it. (OK..I kinda agree!!) This is a little shocking but he said that Moochie may be CUT! I told him that I can't see that but he says it had been discussed as early as January. As for the Larry Brown rumors, I've heard nothing substantial about that but I have heard of it. Another thing he said is that the coaches DEFINITELY are talking about certain Clippers but he actually said that he would rather not say who they are just yet. I begged....he said no! Done! Sorry...I don't know..............................yet! No info on Posey at all. Tito Maddox is an absoulute cancer to the team. He stated that of all the truths out there, Maddox is a BAD BAD person and is worthless. Also, Maddox has arguably the WORST jumper in the league! He simply has no shooting skills at all! But he kept saying how Maddox is not a good guy! take it for what it's worth. He told me of some veterans that they're looking at but asked me not to say. PG - East - PF - West - SG - EAST. How's that? He also said Steve's a 2 next year and that's that. He said 'He'll be playing the 2!' Well, that's what I hear. I know it's not much but that's it for now. Things will pick up but it will not be me who breaks them...sorry. Clutch will break them as usual when appropriate. These are not groundbreaking but it's all I've heard from within that organization. I'll be travelling overseas for a month in the summer but will of course check in for the OP news! Whaddya hear Pops??" -Doc Rocket
good stuff, hopefully some of it will come true. and not just a bunch of rumors. I dont know what the team would be like with out Rudy.
it would be weird not seeing rudy coaching the rockets. i think that moving franchise to 2 guard would probably be a good move, because he's more of a shoot 1st kind of guy.
Getting rid of Griffin if you are the Rockets is a terrible move. He has awesome skills and athleticism and in a few years he will be in his prime. During that time, Francis and Ming will be playing great ball adn the Rockets will be contendors. I dont mind getting rid of Cuttino but Griffin has to stay. He is a key element to our franchise
I dont know if it would be a terrible idea if they got rid of Griffin. I do think that he will be good eventually. I do like the taylor scores more points, but i have never really seen him get rebounds like griffin. They should really try and trade Taylor, he was definetly over-paid
i think griffin should stay hes only 20..hes got height can block shots and rebound everything we need from a 4...i think our expectations were a little high coming in to this season..but if they resign posey maybe trade cat for a more consistent player...and im sure rudy will still be here at least i hope, it just wont be the same without rudy

I think he should stick around for atleast 1 more year. Give him the offseason to add 15 lbs of bulk, and continue to develop his post game. and tell him either he stops shooting as many 3s, or were gonna shoot him

i dont really mind him shooting 3's cause 90% of the time he was so wide open..the d wasnt honoring him at all same with james posey until he caught fire the last 15 or so games..but eg only takes 1 or 2 a game..i think everyone knows what they like to do in our offense except him and yao but then again it was eddies 2nd season and yaos 1st lost remember otis thorpe he wasnt much of an offensive threat but we still won a championship with him at the 4...if we can keep this starting lineup together for most of these guys careers i think this could be a championship calibur team.. so many people wanna trade everyone away cause we missed the playoffs but the fact is we werent ready for the playoffs we didnt even learn how to win games till 3 quarters of the season was over..not 1 of our starters ever led a nba team to the playoffs before and now they know how to win together and everyone wants to trade them away
i only want him to move to the 2 if the rockets can find a quality PG. someone who passes first. we dont want a player thats gonna do the same thing as francis does now

Stevie is a SG playing the PG role. I think Francis could do alot more for the team at the SG role however we cant move him there unless we get a quality PG. THats something lacking in the NBA these days, good true point guards. Most of the time now SG's are required to play the poing guard role at of necessity.
