Game 2- Orlando Magic at Detriot Pistons

magic and detroit should be 2 of the top teams in the east next season. magic have tmac and a bunch of young guys that will improve into next season.(gooden, hunter, giricek and a pretty much lotto draft pick). pistons have rip, big ben, chauncey, a high draft pick, plenty of salary.

 

just how high do you suppose the pistons pick will be. how exactly did they get memphiss pick again, wouldnt orlando have it for the mike miller trade? at any rate i really hope the pistons dont land another superstar via draft or free agancy. i dont want them to be the only superpower team in the east.

 

it was in a trade a bunch of years ago, like in 1998 or something, i can't remember the exact stuff of it though. allnet or big d would know.

We got it ages ago..when we traded otis thorpe..remember him? so this year we will ge the pick...grizzles finished with the 6th worst record in the league..so it will likely be from 2-5 pick..i highly doubt they get the 1st pick..so pistons will get a top 5 player in the draft.Also we will get a good FA as we have quite alot of cap room.So we will be a scary team next year if all plans out

Basically our starting 5 next year could be like this

PG billups
SG hamilton
SF odom or maggette
PF Ben
C darko

or we could get melo and sign another big man like juwan howard...

 

Hopefully we keep Rip around for awhile, he's been a big part of the Pistons this year, same with Billups, shit, i can't wait until the draft.......

lol t's very unlikely...darko is expected to be great..and in the east he would do even better...melo will be great you can tell by watching him play.

This could be an exciting off season 8)

 

I'd like to see how Darko does, he sounds really good, but i've never even seen dude play. So once i see this guy ball, i'll state my opinion about whether he's a bust or not.

allnet, i don't think the pistons will get the #2 or #3 pick. they will probably get around 6-8, IMO. you never know though with the ping pong balls. btw does anyone know when they will do the ping pong balls?

 

Orlando should win, im not sure about Darko being great, it might take him a couple of years, but who knows, we will have to wait and see.

 

Grizzles had a bad record and 6th worst in the L...so no way should we get lower than 5th pick...but i was told a while back that we might trade our pick to the clippers for elton brand...
