You could be (I don't know, I haven't seen you in action). My advice is: you just have to believe in yourself, have a little of confidence (NOT COCKINESS). The reason why you need assurance is because if your not sure of your self, how are you sure you're not going to make it or choke it??? Am I right?

I feel the same way about my singing career (haha that hasn't boosted yet). I think lots of singers are better than me...like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, you know..."The Great Ones", but that's what makes me even hunger more to make myself better...You need to make goals of you know if you could get more blocks, steals, etc...not just the best of what you are...for ex...for me, it could be to expand my ranges...like Whitney Houston (she goes pretty damn high). And don't over extend your confidence, because some people might discourage you (like me, haha, I'm j/p.) There's a boundary line between CONFIDENCE and COCKINESS.

I am an undersized power forward who can pass. I'm 5'10 and 15. I can play but I definately need practice to make a school team or anything. I only have a natural ability to board. But size isn't everything for the NBA, ie Muggsy and Earl. You just need skills to play, I'm as tall as Damon I think and he can play, but I've started training to improve my game. I just enrolled at 24 hour fitness, gonna tone my body and work on my game in the pickup games. But all in all to get in the NBA you need speed, defense and a shot.

the main thing in getting to the nba is without a doubt shootingya hear boys with mad handles ,speed and skill but like iverson he shot 100s of shots a day in practice to get where he is now,and he probably still shoots that amount....if you notice nba teams shooting around its like every shot goes in.......

size can matter but not really,,but to become a superstar it does kinda ,,iverson only superstar that cant dunk like rest of superstars [i.e kobe, vince ,tmac]he has mad hops for a 6 footer though.

mighty mouse is i think averaging 6 points or somthing like that

tyhe average playa is 6'7" matt harping, thats the average height or 6'6"

size isn't everything...i'm around 6'7/6'8 and i do dominate alot of players when we play one on one in streetball that kind of thing...i felt i could of made it...i have a good shot on me but just didn't have the mental toughness..injuries were a factor too

Even a current NBA player has said that i could of made it if i put enough hard work into it...as i have the size and a great shooting touch...but i just didn't work hard enough for it.

you don't need size....but you need skill mentally to be coping with pressures, etc...a good work ethic definetely.....and last thing I have to mention is CONFIDENCE BUT NOT COCKINESS.

Size doesnt make it to the NBA unless your 7'5. Size only matters for what position you want to be (usually). Besides from size, you need to master everything you practice, (shooting, ballhandling etc). A big key component is playing against players that are better than you (that will make you better). It also helps to live in the states, because players are recognized more easily in the states than other countries. Cockiness will get you nowhere.

not always the case. Steve Nash one of the best PGs in the league didnt pick up a ball untill he was 12.
