Atlanta trades: PG Jason Terry (17.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 7.4 apg in 38.0 minutes) C Nazr Mohammed (4.6 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 0.2 apg in 12.8 minutes) C Theo Ratliff (8.7 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 0.9 apg in 31.1 minutes) Atlanta receives: PG Alvin Williams (13.2 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 5.3 apg in 33.9 minutes) PF Antonio Davis (13.9 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 2.5 apg in 35.7 minutes) Change in team outlook: -3.4 ppg, -3.2 rpg, and -0.7 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED raps roster c-theo/nazr pf-darko/bradley sf-mo pete/jyd sg-vc/murray pg-terry/alston hawks c-davis/free agent pf-rahim/henderson sf-robinson/newble sg-demarr/ham pg-alvin/dickau
I'd like to keep alvin, and not draft Darko. Theos getting old too. Jason Terry is good, but hes more of a scoring PG/SG instead of someone like alvin, who wouldnt shoot every time when we have a chance to score. Thats what Vince is for . I also think trading mopete and drafting melo or bron to take his spot would be good. Picking up Haywood or Magloire, and i guess leaving AD at PF, the only thing is that we might not be able to afford anyone else if AD isnt traded. our roster would look like this C-Haywood or Magloire PF- AD? JYD SF-Lamond, Bron? Melo? SG-VC, Bron? Melo? PG-Alvin, Rafer the trade for mo pete and magloire would be good. Anyone disagree? Better ideas?
new orleans would not do that trade straight up but washington would so haywood for mo pete draft melo sign adrian griffen and get mourning on a contract by insentives c-mourning/haywood pf-davis/jyd sf-melo/lammond sg-vc/barry pg-alvin/alston
now that cleveland has lebron they want alvin williams we can replace williams with t.j ford in the draft plus we get ricky davis in return then there will be no need for mo pete so trade him to washington for haywood the trade makes sense for all the teams. raptor roster c-haywood/montross/bradley pf-davis/jyd/bradley sf-vc/jyd/murray sg-davis/murray/jeffries pg-ford/alston/hunter wiz roster c-kwame/thomas pf-jeffries/white sf-mo pete/russell sg-dixon/hughes pg-hughes/lue cavs roster c-big z/diop pf-boozer/mihm sf-lebron/miles sg-wagner/jones pg-williams/parker
That would be good, but Ricky wouldnt play well with the raps, and TJ and Rafer haven't had that much experience at PG in the NBA, Rafer never plays, and TJ hasnt played one game in the NBA yet. Ricky wouldn't fit with the raps because Lamond would want to start at SF, and Vince at SG. Another good thing would be to get Tyron Lue or Juan Dixon from Washington, because they might not find a whole lot of playing time, and if we were to trade AW, Dixon or Lue could possible play PG, but we would have nothing to offer for either of them.
1. Trade the 4th pick,Davis,Peterson for Sprewell,Thomas 9th pick,30th pick. 2. Draft Kaman or Podkolzin or Schortsianitis (future center) with the 9th pick. 3. Draft Troy Bell with the 30th pick 4. Sign Elden Cambell for 4 million. 5. Resign Rafer Alston Roster c Cambell/Kaman/Montross pf Thomas/Bradley sf Carter/Jyd sg Sprewell/Murray pg Williams/Bell/Alston
Nene Hilario is the guy I always liked. Maybe number 4 if Bosh blows up in workouts could land him. DOubt it though. Did anyone hear how Pavel did against Baby Shaq and those other big guys? I think its the first time hes played against actual players over here.
