Most of 'em still didn't score enough to earn a "W"!

How about that O-line...Or Tony Gonzalez...Or Jerome Woods for that matter. Priest is definately an integral part of the Chiefs vaunted offense, but I'd hardly say they are nothing without him.

I don't think they have someone to step in if Holmes gets hurt though. They could struggle without his production.

KC offense is pretty damn dominant, almost every peice is better than 25 other teams have. unfortunately their defense has players at every position worse than 25 teams. HOwever, vermiel is easily a top 5 coach and with him there they will be sucessful

Not many teams could handle losing a major position player and not miss a beat. Holmes is a large part of that offense and without him, they aren't the same team.

BF1 - I agree with that, except I would trade our WRs for just about any takers.

SF - I thought Blaylock showed some improvement last year. He's not Holmes, but who is? Blaylock held off LJ last year and had some pretty impressive runs while Priest rested on the sidelines.

2003 numbers on blaylock
22 attempts
112 yds.
5.1 avg.
long 25
2 TDs

I still hope we get a blue chipper in before the Priest hangs up the cleats, but I feel like we can still win some games with Blaylock. He began to prove himself a little last season.

I agree 100% with GF they talk like they don't even have a young star RB behind Piest, LJ is extremely talented, I can't wait for someone to realize that

I'm not saying he won't come along for us. I'm just saying that last year, he couldn't wrestle Blaylock's job away. I hope LJ turns oiut to be a monster RB. BTW The Priest is indeed over 30. I think he turns 32 during this upcoming season.
