again, i said theres a few players who will play all 5 but not as good at EACH one as bird. Magic wasnt, thouguh he was a better point guard, anthony mason certainly isnt, and no one was as good as bird with the game on the line no matter what position.
anthony can play point and center hes a depth chart all but shooting guard tony kukoc can play them all http://hoopshype.com/depth_charts_central.htm
i haven't seen dirk play...just some white guy with long hair that's 7 foot that looks like him...I don't think he can play C or guard one...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "vinsanity03":</div><div class="quote_post">Reggie Miller is the best clutch player ever. no matter what the story is.</div> u can argue that but its stoooopid to say it with such certainty. there are a LOT of people who will say the same thing about Jordan, Bird, West, Havlicek and others. Miller had some great moments but I think Bird or Jordan is the guy u want to get the ball to with 10 seconds left
If I were to pick one person in the history of the earth to give the ball to 10 seconds left in a basketball game, it would be Reggie Miller.
Honestly everyone, the best player is Stockton. He may be not cool with his high rise shorts but all time leader in steals and assists, hands down its Stockton.
How about Peja? He's turning into a threat from ANYWHERE on the court (like Dirk), not quite as tall but he can move off the ball, he can make plays, he's learning some post moves from Vlade and Webb. These playoffs look to be his breakout. Also, if we really want to judge who the next "best white player since Bird" is, we need to eliminate the Euros. Peja, Dirk, Nash, all those guys were watching Michael, Magic, Scottie, Payton, Stockton, etc... Try to find 'im among the Americans, see how well that works!

Keep in mind Bird was only able to play until the early nineties due to injury which make his career stats slightly less impressive perhaps than stockton but if u whatched them both play in their prime bird was just better

I knew he was Canadian, I just wanted to point out that he should in that case be excluded, since white players from other countries are quite often better than white players from America. Stereotyping, I know, but it's done everywhere.
actually Steve Nash was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, but i still call him a Canadian (he came to BC, Canada when he was 12)
don't u hate it when ppl are like 15 years old and are like I'm not from here then u ask them how long they lived here and they say 12 years lol...MY TOWN IS LIKE THAT...THIS TOWN IS BORING....it's so funny too when ppl say it....I just bust out laughin in their face...
