Here are the scores after the 1st Round of the NBA Playoffs. (Remember the scoring goes like this: 1 point for the correct team, and a bonus 1 point if you got the number of games correct. You do not get the bonus point for number of games if you did not pick the winner correctly)

Interesting notes:
--No one got the Pacers-Celtics series exactly right. A few people smarter than I picked the Celtics, but no one guessed they'd win it in 6.
--No one picked the Bucks to upset the Nets
--The Hornets and Magic were both popular upset picks, both of which turned out to be wrong of course

i picked the celts in 6 because I knew their only chance was to win at teh fleetcenter. wheres my bonus point?

aw that sucks. I totally wouldnt have meant to pick them in 7. I had said then they wont win a 7th game in Indy but ooh well. I guess i fuked myself over with typos

i picked orlando too. i would have been right but they abslolutley choked and gave it away

 

i also picked orlando and kept telling all my friends how they would win but now i look like a fool

i got screwed cuz for the 2nd round i put highest seed vs. lower seed instead of the right way

Big D, if you picked 2 teams to meet in the second round but only one is there what happens? Do you get any points if you pick them to win and they do but not over the team you said it would be? Or do both teams have to be there?

 

If you have the correct winner in the 2nd round, it doesn't matter who they beat, you still get the point. It's the same as the NCAA Tournament. You still get credit for having the #1 seed winning, even if you had them beating the #8 seed rather than the #9.

The real question, and I'll let you guys help decide, is if you get the bonus point for correct number of games, even if you don't have the correct losers. By that I mean, if you had New Jersey beating Indiana in 4, would you get the bonus point if New Jersey beats Boston in 4. I don't know if you should, so you guys can voice your opinion on it.
