    i saw a link on another pop. site that said Ricky Williams violated his drug policy and in his drug test last Dec. there was marijuana found in his sample. any1 here about this?

    I did hear of this as well, his second violation with the phins. A simple slap in the wrist til his 3rd offense.

    if it is truly a second offense mandatory 4 game suspension no exceptions.

    Maybe if Fiedler loses the QB competition (right!) Wanny will stick him in at RB until Ricky returns.

    2nd offense is the slap on the wrist, 3rd is the 4 game suspensions....is ricky a pot head? Of course he is....hes a rasta....he loves Bob Marley and until recently he had giant dreads, he probably is a pot head as well....

    I think Bearsfan1 had this one right. 2nd offense carries the 4 game suspension.

    I think its the 3rd offense thats get ya suspended.

    Besides who doesnt in todays age not smoke a little natural herb?
    Our constitution is written on hemp lol.

    From an AP article
    A player who tests positive once for any drug that is banned by
    the NFL is admitted into the treatment program for two years and is
    subject to as many as 10 tests a month. If a player is clean during
    that time, he is removed from the program.
    A player who tests positive twice is fined the value equal to
    his pay for four games. A player who tests positive a third time is
    given at least a four-game suspension. A player who tests positive
    a fourth time is suspended for at least a season.


    Sorry beef, I was reading an earlier article wrong. Looks like you had it right except for the 2nd offense which is 4 games pay.

    i think he should be suspended if it is true but rules are rules.

    if he got arrested with pot he would be treated like any citizen....or worse....when he 1st came to Miami, it seemd like the cops were targeting him.....

    From what I have heard Cops in the South Beach area target all athletes.
