Wow! That was a very convincing win. All 5 starters in double figures and the Lakers FINALLY scored over 100 points.

Kobe and Shaq both had great games...if they can win on Sunday, they'll be right back in it.

(PS: Please spare us with the constant whining about the officials. They sucked and both ends. Continuing to whine about it is just getting ridiculous)

its not whining. its stating a fact. the refs have shown that they will do anything in their power to bring LA its fourth straight championship. i dont htink itl be enough to get past the spurs and certainly not the kings. if the lakers pull this series out theyll have nothing left in the tank for sacramento

As Much as I despise to say this the Refs did Shaq wrong (please dont give me the look my sister did). He got called for a foul then, Tim Duncan aka Telly did the same thing I didnt hear a whistle blow. BLAH MVP my ....Edit: Hm, I'm surprised that word isn't censored - D

Lakers will win the championship. I dont want them to, but they have Shaq (forget kobe). I want Spurs to but I also have to $10 bets on the Lakers.

pleeeeeeeeaaaaaase.

here are the facts...

Game 1 @ San Antonio:
FTA: 35 (Spurs) vs. 12 (Lakers)

Game 2 @ San Antonio:
FTA: 27 (Spurs) vs. 24 (Lakers)

Game 3 @ Los Angeles:
FTA: 24 (Spurs) vs. 40 (Lakers)

FTA Totals thru Game 3:
Spurs: 86
Lakers: 76

My conclusion:
oldskoolfunk is wrong. refs give the advantage to the home team, regardless of which team. refs will do anything to make this a long, dramatic series.

My prediction for Game 4:
calls will be more equal but LA will have a slight advantage with 3-5 more benefitting calls.

WUT WUT WUT

a lot of things....the lakers came out to play from the start, the moral support of jack nicholson, home court advantage and a very excellent adjustment to the triangle offense...instead of throwing the ball to shaq in the low post, we brought shaq out to the high post and used him as a screener for the triangle offense's backdoor series.

Lakers played pretty good last night. They won the fight last night but I dont think they can win the war. Spurs in 6.

Jack yelling had to be my non-basketball highlight of the night. That was hilarious!

Game 4 @ Los Angeles:
FTA: 26 (Spurs) vs. 45 (Lakers)

FTA Totals thru Game 4:
Spurs: 112
Lakers: 121

My conclusion:
as i said before...refs give the advantage to the home team, regardless of which team. refs will do anything to make this a long, dramatic series.

My prediction for Game 5:
i was wrong about my game 4 prediction...lakers had a huge advantage at home...so for game 5 i predict the spurs will get many, many, many calls in their favor since they are at home.

Yep, except it's not the refs...it's the top NBA executives like Stern who want this to go all the way.

You can bet that the Spurs will get MANY calls in Game 5, and the Lakers will get MANY calls in Game 6. Game 7 will be fair, like it was in Sacramento.

IMO, some of these guys need to realize that the NBA doesn't really care WHO wins, they just want the series to go a long way so they can make as much money as possible.

Im amazed Jack hasnt already been thrown out of games several times. He thinks the refs are obliged to listen to him cause hes special or somehitng cause hes a movie star
