I read that too. Im not sure its going to happen though. with only two years left on his contract. Danny Ainge wont have any toruble finding takers for Walker. Everyteam would be delighted to have a versatile leader like Walker and it might even be better for him to go somewhere he doesnt have to take as many shots. Itd be funny if he ended up on one of the teams of you guys who hate him. youd chage your story pretty fast. but Walker loves Boston and coach Obrien. Hes one of the great team chemistry players in the game. trzading him just might not be the best idea
Walker can't guard Kenyon it's a known fact...come on...Walker isn't a solid post player like Kenyon is...he has a bad series and they wanna trade him...so be it...but it better be a worthy trade...Ainge has a lot of work to do to put Boston at the top...
Anyone can gaurd Kenyon Martin. alll he can do is dunk in the open court. honestly have you WHATCHED him try to do things without kidd, hes very unskilled for his size. you cant argue hes BETTER than walker because walker is a multiple time all star and kmart will never be an all star once
Walker would fit in well with a team that don't have a shot at the playoffs..then he can shoot as many bad shots as he likes.I doubt many of the top teams will want to trade for him.

I dont think walkers going to be a Mav either but no matter what team gets thrown out u think of some idiot reason why they would never wan t walker. if walkers the worst player in the world than why has he been an allstar so many times? are u smarter than all the NBA coaches? they obviously see something they like. Walker has the size of some of the bikgger power forwards but he has the moves of some of the quicker guards. he can usually do whatevevr he wants down low. unfortunatly the way this team works he ends up taking a lot of threes instead. he wouldnt do that for every team. coaches would tell hiim go down low and do what you do best. overpower, or sweep past the guy and get into his head and score. any team has use for that kind of player

never called you an idiot for saying the mavs dont need him . I agree. they dont need him except maybe for his defensse but he wont end up there. And yes, what walker does has a lot to do with what the coaching staff tells him. You can hate it but you cant argue with the results. Walker has helpped lead the Celtics to Playoff runs in each of the last two years when no one thought they would win a series and some, probably you, thought they wouldnt even make the playoffs. They were two wins away fromt he finals last yyear before collapsing from fatigue and its because the coaches know what they have and know what they have to do to get the most out of it and theyve done that. Walker shoots a lot of threes because he hits a lot of threesw and they need those threes to win the games and when he tries he is much more of a force downlow than say a Kenyon Martin. Kenyon has better ups but no moves and doesnt use his size to his advantage as well as walker and allso doesnt get into oppenents heads like walker or step up and be a leader like walker
First off allnet as a moderator you should know better than to come into the celtics forum and bait the posters with walker sucks, all he does is miss everything, he can't shoot etc. Everyone understands your opinion. There's no need to keep repeating yourself. Also please no calling others idiots because they don't have the same opinion as you. I thnk its funny that last year during the playoff run of the Celtics nobody said walker sucks, he's overrated. now when he's obviously hurt and not shooting well everyone hates him. no...people dont like to admit how good walker is when he shows it. They just turn their heads and say its a fluke he ever does anything good. They just act like it was a freak mathamatical accident that he made the all star team. Then that it was a mistake when he started it. THen that it was amazing that he made it when he was selected a third time. Some players people just dont like and wont give credit for what they are no matter what. walker could win finals MVP and people would still say hes nothing
i think walker is a great post player when he makes the effort to bang inside. he has great footwork and is usually quicker than the other 4's in the league. a lot of his moves remind me of a young charles barkley. i really don't know why he abandons his post up game to launch 3pt shots. maybe he has some incentive clauses in his contract to hit 100+ from downtown to get a bonus. i know walker is struggling because the celtics don't have a pg to set him up and pass to him in rhythm. he's also banged up and him and pierce played a lot of minutes during the regular season. i agree the celtics need to trade pierce or walker though. unfortunately baker's contract has the celtics tied up and the only way they have a chance of moving him is if they throw in pierce or walker into the mix. also if baker retires the celtics can void his contract, i believe.
youre selling Bremer short. once he gets another few months or a year of experience under his belt hel blossum into one of the formidable point gaurds in the league. you know he can score but he also makes some incredible passes. he just needs to learn to hold on to the ball better adn needs to run again. he did at the beginning but he slowed down to acocomadate the rest of the dinosaur plodding celtics
