    Bill Walton is possibly the dumbest sports announcer in NBA history. Everything about him annoys me so much- the way he talks, the way he thinks he knows everything, the way he lavishes praise on people who don't really deserve it (example: Lebron James makes a simple bounce pass to a teammate on the break. Bill Walton- "LOOK AT THE POISE, THE ATHLETICISM, THE COURT VISION, THE SENSE OF THE GAME."), and of course, the way he says "THROW IT DOWN BIG FELLA". :-x I don't think he deserves to be an announcer, and he should not be resigned to a contract w/ ABC or ESPN.

    i think it would be hard to be an announcer and a lot of them do suck, walton just a little bit more than most

    Marv Albert is one of my Favorites... I love how he be yelling "(Name) from downtown!!!!" or "he is a 87 percent freethrow shooter" lmao

    Al Mcoy of the Suns is one of my favorites. I think he has been with one team the longest now that Chick Hern Died.

    its bill waltons job, hes supposed to say all those stupid things to make him look like he knows something, and to take up time and to have less silence for the viewer...

    thanks.
    oh yeah I just remembered another thing I hate about him. And this one's REALLY stupid. Every single time someone throws up an airball which one of his teammates just happens to catch, Walton says "NICE PAAAASS", and Tom Tolbert and I are left shaking our heads. I don't blame Tolbert for arguing with Walton on almost every broadcast- I would too.

    Honestly is Robert Horry a better defender than Bruce Bowen, no. Is Robert Horry a top 3 defender on his team, no. So how is he one of the best defenders in this era of basketball. The gayest thing he ever said was Blazers vs. Mavs game 6, when Bill Walton said, "ITS A THROW-IT-DOWN-ATHON OUT THERE!" Me and my friends all cracked up at how gay Bill Walton is.

    i think bill walton's stupidity was summed up when he named vlade divac to one of his all NBA teams for this season (2nd or 3rd, can't remember) with divac averging the mind boggling stats of 10 and 7

    sean elliot's one of the best player-turned-commentators (well anything beats timbug), and kevin calabro for the sonics is also one of the best, he is hilarious

    Bill Walton talks like he knows everything because he probabaly knows more about basketball than almost anyone in the world. Id take him over marv albert everyday. you can almost hear him creaming his expensive womens lengerie everytime kobe does something cool
