AHHHHH!!!! So close! This has been the way it's gone all season for LA.

Oh well, fabulous comeback and that must've given them some confidence that they can win in San Antonio.

I predict the Lakers to win Game 6, and Game 7 will be an absolute grudge match.

I wont say he's a ballhog (when Shaq's there) but he does get a lot of ball simply because he gets minutes. For example a guy who played 48 mins today would be good and teams get there good players the ball.
How'd Horry miss? Not because it was easy but Horry saves the Lake show so much...

Shaq didn't do enough through 3 quarters...i expected him to dominate for the tip but he didn't ..if i was a laker fan i would be angry that my team didn't turn up for all 4 quarters...they didn't want to win til the 4th...not a great sign..however both west series are getting exciting and very tense...an all texas conference finals? 8) 8) 8) that would be nice

ahh but i'd much rather come late then never.

and also, if i was a spurs fan i would hate the idea knowing that my team blew away a 20+ advantage and the fate of the season was in the hands of another player.

but anyways, game 6 in LA.

Not really as they held on..good job steph hit at least one from the line..or they wouldn't of needed a three...spurs are still in control of this series...and shouldn't lose it..same with the mavs

with all the early talk of upsets, the top 2 winning teams from each conference might represent the final four.

Nets are in
Detroit, Mavs, & Spurs are also in control.

hahaha aight, its cool. you're lookin' out for your team and i'm lookin' out for mine. but one thing i have to say is i have massive respect for the spurs this year. their GM is a genius bringing in very very solid, impact role players. also, the spurs are, for the most part, a class act as they don't talk ridiculous smack like vlade. sure the spurs whine about the officiating at times but hey, all teams do. this is a great series...see you at Game 6!!!

Spurs got a little lucky Horry missed but then hes been pretty lucky to have hit so many times. I also still think the Lakers were pretty lucky in game 4. It would have been pretty upsetting and a pretty bad sign for the whole league the lakers had pulled that out though kind of similar to if they win the cahmpionship this year. they can just think they can phone it in sleepwalking for the first 3 quarters of the race and only show up for the last mile and still have it handed to them one way or the other. Ill be pretty depressed and will have to do some questioning into whether I continue to whatch the NBA so closley anymore untill the league has changed a little. Honestly some of us dont find it so fun knowing as soon as the year starts that no one in our entire side of the continent has a chance in hell of winning it all

Game 5 @ San Antonio:
FTA: 26 (Spurs) vs. 17 (Lakers)

FTA Totals thru Game 5:
Spurs: 138
Lakers: 138

My OLD prediction for Game 5:
i was wrong about my game 4 prediction...lakers had a huge advantage at home...so for game 5 i predict the spurs will get many, many, many calls in their favor since they are at home.

My conclusion:
hmmm FTA for the series is now tied, however the refs still gave the hometeam the advantage at the charity stripe.

i still maintain the same conclusion...refs give the advantage to the home team, regardless of which team. refs will do anything to make this a long, dramatic series.

My prediction for Game 6:
refs will show a lot of love for kobe, which will set the tone & tempo for the rest of the game. lakers will win.

san antonio grew up and were able to dig in and hold off the massive laker push...that is impressive...i give them props...i still think the Lakers can take this series but i've said it before and i'll say it again, this isnt the same SA team that is just gonna roll over for the Lakers...i think ginobili is one of the keys to reshaping the attitude of the Spurs team...but yah anyways...i like watching teams develop...and next year...SA is just gonna be flat out scary...another Max Contract added on to the talent of parker / ginobili / duncan / bowen / rose and company...they are my (pre-end of 2003 season) favorite for the 2004 season to win it all...they are just gonna be ridiculous

Actually, he did get greedy at the end and wanted to do all by himself. Took every shot during the final minutes, except the last one! He didnt take the one he was suppose to take! Dumbass..

Spurs in 6, or 7.

Lakers will get all the calls in game 6, so watch out.

Spurs in 7, the spurs took a lot of smart shots and were patient with the ball, everyone seemed to play well. It was pretty scary when the Lakers came back, but I knew it was going to happen, every game I watch when theres a big lead, its always narrowed down and the other team suddenly has a chance. Good game for the Spurs, lakers didnt get all the calls they should have got, but what can you do? My prediction: Lakers will win game 6, spurs will win game 7.

Horry couldnt make that shot. The Lakers came back in the 4th but fell short.
