I really don't believe fightin comes into play here....it's not cool to fight...ppl think it's cool but I've never started a fight in my life...I defend myself when I have to....it's easy for someone to talk trash...but it's another thing to attack me...if u attack me, hope I'm in a good mood and we're not playin football or basketball...I don't think highly of myself as a fighter...I've been in 2 fights in my life...I've wanted to fight ppl but they talk the talk but they never do nothin...I'm sayin this to olskool,knicks, or allnet...but what I am sayin to u 3 is stop bringin fightin into the mix cuz then this whole board knows that one of u has lost the arguement
shut up. i never said fighting is cool. but sometimes you cant avoid it and theres nothing wrong wih prying yourself on being good at it. dont make me feel ashamed just cause one of the few things im good at isnt considered socially acceptable
no one has lost any arguement here....and also as for fighting you have to be prepared just incase you run into someone wanting to robb you for example.. if everyone had arguements and debates like olskool and himself do these would be even better boards..
it's acceptable in a sense but i mean u don't need to fight 24/7 to feel cool...read a book, draw (I can't draw), or hell do what I do....PLAY BASKETBALL.....and if u lose ur head in a ball game like I do...it's cool cuz it's proving urself more than anything rather than fightin over nothin....
when did i say i fought over nothing? I havent started a fight since i was 15 but it happens. i wont lie and tell u a part of me doesnt enjoy fighting but i never said its cool. i dont have to prove stif like that anymore.

no. thats naive to think guys fighting over girls is fighting over nothing. If youre in a place with your girl and some guy is harrassing her, she doesnt like it, she tells him to stop, he doesnt stop, you tell him to stop, he doesnt, he starts harrasing you, you walk away, he follows you, it just happens. the trouble with fighting in society today is that the majority always assumes you had a choice. thats why my buddy got kicked out of school unfairly. four guys attacked him and he fought back. he didnt have a choice. he had to fight back or they could have killed him. he beat all four of them and got kicked out of school for that. sometimes you just dont have a choice

yea aready did....i would never go looking a fight based on hearsay and gossip. most men of even minimal intellegence do the same. it all depends on wat the lady says.. boy what a great NBA finals it was. Spurs over Mavs in 6 games. a classic. Now we can just sit back and whatch the pro bowl.

boy somebody woke up on the wrong side of the gutter this morning. y'know 200 pounds isnt really that heavy for 6' 2'' i know guys who weigh that much and are shorter than me and are in pretty good shape. I might even have exagerrated my weight a little bit as I tend to do as for a long time I was a stick untill I started working out. Im gonna whatch the finals. its entertaining even if its not up for question whos gonna win. i whatch the all star game too and thats an even more meaningless exhibition. i just love basketball so i whatch it. why the hell does that make u so mad
it makes me mad because u give the nets absolutely no credit for making the nba finals 2 years in a row, the east is too weak, their playoff competition was terrible, their team stinks except for jason kidd and lucious harris *rolls eyes at that one*, a 10 game winning streak is meaningless and easy. the east probably is weaker now, but i dont remember a season when each conferences combined record was exactly even, i dont remember when there were exactly 5 great pf's in each division, 4 great pg's in each division, etc. so there is always going to be one division that is a little better, so if u go by that then theres no point ever playing a finals, just have the team that won the conference with the best record the champion.

EVERYONE gives the nets credit. are you kidding? theres a whole band wagon now. why do u think charles barkely and magic johnson were RAVING about how the nets are gonna win the finals. becuase they had a good winning streak and have a lot of hype. If anything people arent giving the spurs enough credit because they lost more games in the playoffs on the way to the finals this year than the nets. well if the nets were in the west they wouldnt even have made the finals or the second round for that matter. and it is true that the nets team stinks without jason kidd. its a fact. everyone knows he makes everyone around him seem better than they are. dont get all pissy at me just becuase im right. u think im HAPPY that the east is so inferior to the west. you think its my goddam fault?? i live in the northeast for crissake
how do u know the nets wouldnt have gotten past the 2nd round if they were in the west? are u God and know everything? they arent in the west and they do have jason kidd so to make up make situations that are never going to happen, and will hopefully never happen, is a waste of time. and if the nets do win the finals, then the east will be the most dominant conference.
