LOL pacers aren't crazy..no way they trade away artest for petterson...thats just ripping the pacers...maybe if you added your 4th pick..then it could be ok but if not no way..thats bad for indy..artest is one of the best defenders in the L..and was 2nd in the defensive player of the year votes..along with being a 16 and 5 player

How so? petterson is very inconsistant...artest is a very good player and the best guard defender in the NBA.I hate him..but i know a very good player when i see one...only way pacers would even consider the deal would be if the raps pick was involved.Artest could help any team big time...of course his attuide is a problem but when he is on the court he is a key player.

Why? you clearly overrate bradley and petterson or you don't know how good artest really is.

Ron Artest is amazing. Youd have to throw in someone better.

Trust me i wouldn't be saying this if i didn't think this was true...anyone who knows me or talks to me on AIM will tell you i hate artest more than anyone..but i know he is a damn good player...and would make any team better with the way he can shut guys down.

well im not saying that trade was good but doo you know how many great players have come out at top 4? Plus then we would have to give up Peterson who is a decent scorer in Peterson and a good guy off the bench in Bradley for a guy who gets suspended every week.

The 4th pick guy is a tough decision to move...but artest with carter would be a good duo...artest can score and is a great defender....if raps pick bosh he might take at least 2 years to produce..who knows

with artest you know what you are going to get..maybe it would be wise for pacers to add in another player like ron mercer or a jeff foster....in the trade

Actually Artest's and Peterson's offensive numbers are pretty similar I thin kArtest average like 1 more point and one more rebound then Peterson the difference between them is obviously the hustle and defense which Artest provides.

I'm pretty sure artest scoring would go up at raptors...artest is on a team that has loads of offensive weapons..they have JO,miller,B.miller, harrington, mercer so it was hard for him to score that much on that team which is loaded with talent..as the 2nd option he would get more PPG.

This would be a pretty good trade, two players who have potential, this would help both teams out.

Someone better with a low salary...You try to think of someone on the Raptors roster. 4th pick is unfair. Artest is a bit better then mo, but with all the on the court troubles and suspension it is way too crazy. Bradley can become good once he isnt afraid to shoot the ball. Our 4th pick is Chris Bosh! you're out of your mind man.
