Did you listen to what Kobe was saying? He wasn't even whining. You have a blurred perspective on things. Kobe gave the Spurs all the credit they deserved and he said that next year starts RIGHT NOW. As in he isn't going to be goofing off in the offseason, it's all about business and trying to get to where they have been the past three years. How's that not setting a good example?

where is SCBrian to defend Kobe on this one? Kobe obviously cried because he was disappointed to see the championship run end. After the game he said he hates the feeling of losing and off season starts right now. So watch out next year. And if Kobe was a bitch and baby then he would have been out of the league along time ago after his 3 straight airballs against the Jazz. But he learned he can't do it all by himself and learned to play a team game and now he's arguably the best player in the league.
it depends what your definition of BEST is. he's more skilled than shaq and a better all-around player. shaq is the most dominating player.
meh. shaq didn't cry because he didnt try. so what if he was hurting. he could have used his dominant self and knocked the spurs on their asses. i think he's happy with his 3 rings. on showing class: Kobe thought that the Lakers had a chance to sweep the Spurs. VERY classy, huh?
what's class have to do with that statement? they've swept them before and kobe thinks confidently and feels invincible on the court. most players do, that's why they can compete professionally.
