Cry me a river...rick made bad decisions in the playoffs at times..by playing cliff too much...corliss not enough....and not playing prince in the season...i hope larry help us make the finals..we won't be affected by the change of coach.Rick will get another job somewhere else...
The Pistons would never been 1st seed in the East without Rick, and would have never made a come back against the Magic, nor woudl have beat the 6ers . . .
I'm pretty sure the players were the ones that got as far as they did..rick is a very good coach..but so is brown...and it's not like we will be losing any players.
What about Allen Iverson, and Keith Van Horn... I doubt Snow and Coleman will go to Detroit, unless they love the city and the coach that much You also think Lamar Odom will go there, dont you?
Why would AI and KVH go there...coleman is a FA..and he loves brown..i don't want snow but he also loves to be coached by brown.....as for odom? we might well sign him yes...we have the cap
Larry Brown is a snake in the grass Larry Brown resigned with the sixers, i don't have a problem with that, but he acted like he wouldn't talk with the wizards out of respect for when a coach has a job that u don't interview for it while they are still around (although everyone knew Doug Collins was about to be fired) so what does Brown do, he takes a job with the Pistons less than 24 hours after Rick Carlisle is fired. I can't believe the executive of the year Joe Dumars had anything to do with this, im shocked, like it was Carlisle's fault that they can't buy a basket, i thought when they didn't have the right players that if fell on the gm, for not supplying them with scorers, which means it was Dumars fault, i guess i was wrong.
It's all business, it's all it ever was, and it's all it ever will be. No coach loves the team or the city they coach in, they can't, they are not allowed to. As for Derrick, and Eric going to Detroit, it's possible. Larry is the one that believed in Eric, and gave him a starting position on the Sixers squad. Derrick grew up in Detroit, and wouldn't mind going home again. He also likes Brown, and Brown brought him to the Sixers 2 years ago. As for Allen, I don't see him going anywhere, Chauncey could come to Philly, with Eric's departure. Brown would get Detroit's front office to trade them two, even though it is a dumb move. So I say, fu*k Larry Brown, I hope he loses every game with the Pistons. I can't believe I actually liked the fa*got.
lol why is everyone actin like girls about it....Brown is a better coach than Carlisle...he had one player to get to the 2nd round of the playoffs with...I think he'll get to the Finals with the 5 players he has to work with now...maybe even more than 5
at first, i thought it was stupid to fire Carlisle... and i figured that the pistons were only HOPING for larry. Now, with Larry, and Darko, Detroit will be unbelievable.
this is a stupid move. detroit already had a great coach. there are plenty of vacant jobs for larry with teams that have talent (i.e.: cleveland, houston). I would of liked to see larry in cleveland coaching lebron. we saw the way he was able to form iverson. could you just imagine lebron? but i guess we'll never be able to see. terrible move. not to mention the way he stabbed philly fans in the back.
lol detroit went from a good coach....to a great one....I don't see how Brown is bad....it's most likely JVG or Silas will be a Cav coach by monday...I respect both of these coaches...I just hope JVG don't try to break up any fights lol....HANG ON JVG....don't let go! Anybody get it? I hope so...
