Why shouldnt he take alot of shots? Hes a scorer thats what scorers do. Iverson takes more shots then him.

Mobley is a good player but has bad shot selection..and hurts his team alot..when he should really get the ball to ming...but he was a 2nd rounder..so was a catch for the rockets

Sorry but When you have a 7'5 player with the amazing skills ming has you need to get the ball to him alot..i don't care that he is only a rookie..mobley needs to learn and take shots when he needs to and not force it...i will bet anything if JVG is coach mobley wouldn't allowed to play like he does now.

Mobley was in Houston before Ming, Ming is just a rookie and why should Mobley be changing him game for Ming, maybe in the future . . . if anything the man is underrated

Cuttino can score however thats just about all he can do. he is a terrible defender any way you look at him. Ming however is a 7-6 beast with uncapped potential with great fundamentals. The Rockets should change purehoops because they wont win with how they were playing before Ming. To be a good team in the Western Confrence you must have a big man. Yao in 2-3 years will be a dominant player. They need Yao to touch teh ball pratically every series of offense. He is a great passer and can score on the post as well as the perimeter. Pcthotsauce I dont think there is any 6 foot guy that blocked Yao Ming.

You all are saying that the answer to it is to pass to Yao, why? He turns the ball over countless times, he gets stripped, and gets blocked by smaller players. He needs to practice more on ballhandling, and only then should the veterans adjust their games for him.

yeah...Yao ain't nothin special...Cuttino is doin the right thing...stop hatin...he scores...I could see if he went 3/24 a game and averaged 6 points...not the case here...

He is 7-6, I dont want him dribbling at all. He doesnt turn the ball over as much as Mobeley does. Thats a fact and I have seen countless Rockets games this year. Yao is a phenominal passer and countless times he made great plays in the clutch for the Rockets. All Cuttino can do is score while Yao has a total game. Yao is by far a bigger piece of the puzzle then Cuttino. Any team would have to change there style when playing with Yao.

i think yao has to work on his post up game this summer.. just improve it a little bit. he should have gotten a lot more touches this season anyways. mobley is a good open shooter, but he's gotta be careful of his shot selection

Read my post...if they want to make the playoffs..mobley needs to stop messing around and play smart...get the ball to ming and get your shot off when teams have their attention on ming..francis did his part....had a good year but again he didn't get the ball to ming enough either..
