dang man...do you just like to be negative towards me lol I'm sayin Dikembe is better than Duncan and Duncan we all know wasn't expecting for Dikembe to block it but hey...expect the unexpected with Dikembe...

Dikembe has always been known for a shot blocker..don't see why it was a big surprise he blocked some shots..thats his game

i like how Deke had 4 points and walton was referring to his as a "dominating performance" [IMG]

oh my god , pure basketball ignorance here with that comment. ur acting like the typical nba fan and only concentrating on points. he totally disrupted the spurs interior offense, helped totally control duncan, altered who knows how many shots, blocked 3 in 20 mins, and gave great hustle and determination. walton understands the games not about scoring 50 pts and having ur team lose, its about putting forth maximum effort and doing what it takes for your team to win. mutombo will 99% of the time never dominate offensively, thats not what he's there for, hes there for defense, and that is what he dominated in in game 2.

i noticed that. walton was talking about his offensive game.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting "pchotsauce":</div><div class="quote_post">if anything...he should get called for Defensive 3 all day...he camps in the lane...</div>

ah. good point. the refs wont call him on it. he's Deke. TD was in the lane a little too long on defense too. I dont think they want to make that call.

I think that Deke did a good job though...to reconcile that thought of snownation it wasn't that we're ignorant...we just have different views...yeah, I thought his blocks are awesome...and he's just not a shooter, so what if he isn't going to smack it down...maybe he likes letting Kittle, Kidd, and Martin dominating the court?

deke did great for himself but even if played like he did two years ago it wont be enough to overcome the spurs

I admit...I highly doubt that the Nets would win over the Spurs...but, I could always hope, right? [IMG]

true, true...that's how I was with the Mavs...I think I prayed at least 3 times during each game (PRETTY DAMN PATHETIC...)

I don't think you're allowed to pray for NBA playoffs...lol.

oh that's sad...Celtics didn't really have that much of a prayer...they're good, but I guess they were just flat out by the Nets.

the nets were just too fast. walker was too out of shape. its still a shame they were swept. i like to think i deserved better than that after the week id been through. i still think they are capable of beating the nets as they showed last year getting out to a 2-1 series lead before shanking it. ut i guess only time will tell...

yeap. Maybe the Celtics will bring the challenge on again next year? You'll never know (I think they could be the Eastern Conference champions).
