Some west teams are on the rise..like suns,rockets,mavs,spurs..but some of the top teams have old guys than aren't going to get that much better..the east will keep improving.

Cavs have loads of great talent...pistons loads of young guys....nets too.....pacers.....east is loaded with good young players.

west don't have many teams with really young players....

nets arent getting any better. cavs might. pistons will. pacers wont go anywhere without a new coach and philosophy. sixers are a one man show. the celtics are handcuffed by an alcoholic whale. all im saying is the west teams are improving just as much as the east

Amare seems a fast learner...i don't expect him or the suns to go backwards...i think it is all looking forward for that franchise....if Sjax signs for them this off season...then it will be even more of a rivalry

yes they will be better. but it does happen with players who come right out of high school and have a strong rookie season. its hard to live up tot he expectations immediatley.

I think he is used to it all...he shouldn't have a problem improving his game for next year.

perhaps youre right. but i dont think he would be used to it. winning rookie of the year and going into the next season with high expectations for your team is not something amare or any of the suns of done before however

I think that the West are still dominant over the East strongly--no doubt about that. You say there's barely any young player on the west? Actually that is sort of true--but you can't deny that when we did have many young players, they turn out pretty great (like Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett--even if they didn't have that great of a rookie year, they've continously done better...) and Amare Stoudamire the ROY , himself, but the fact the have lots of players that experienced things like Playoffs make more of a difference...then the quantity of how much great young players...what if they won't work well with their new teams? That's the questions they'll probably be asking themselves. I think Melo will make a great add in the West [IMG]
