there are a bunch of articles on lampe and how he is impressing people at the chicago camp with his shooting touch...
I would rather have an inside player, it sounds like lampe is more perimeter
Everything I hear about bosh says he has great post skills, even though hes puny, so I'm hoping he impresses in his workouts and shows up over 6'10 and heavier than 210

I heard Lampe can hit shots real well behind the net and underneath it. I think there better talent at 4th though.

I wouldn't mind getting Lampe, but Dwayne Wade beat him in horse, and a scrimmage (not a surprise). They were both tested and were both impressing people. I still would like to trade our pick and draft Wade, backing up VC or moving vince to SF. The thing is Lampe is considered by all coaches a SF because he isn't big (meaning in weight) to play in the NBA at the PF spot. Lampe doesn't eat enough protein daily and really needs to buff up to play PF. All the raptors need is a C if we dont trade AD, and from GGs coments, AD isn't going anywhere. So even if Lampe could play PF, AD would likely take his spot.

Like I said Dwayne Wade is impressing many people at the camps and could likely backup VC if Mo Pete goes, because Lamond is expected to start at SF. If the raps were to move VC down to the SF spot and if by any chance Lamond goes, then Wade could possibly start some games next season to give him more experience and feel for the NBA.

Chris Kaman is another choice, hes an agressive C but doesn't have a jumpshot beyond 12 feet. Good news is, hes in the gym almost every day trying to buff up (lifting weights).

Other than Bosh these people could likely be in a raps uniform.

Dwayne Wade (probably wont go 4th, trading for 6 or 7th pick is an idea)
    Marciej Lampe (could go 4th)
Chris Kaman (will likely go 6th or 8th)

The Raptors have no interest in Dwayne Wade. Hes good but we dont need him, we can use chris kaman. Chris Bosh will probably be picked though.

the Mavs had VanExel play the 2 pretty effectively. Maybe trading down for Wade isn't such a bad idea. I still like Bosh though, depending on how he does at camp, and how big his measurements are.

Just asking how do you know they have no interest? I was also just telling you news and how hes done in the camps and how everyone was happy with how he was playing, and analyzing the possibilities and the good players.

How good is this Pavel Podkolzin?

i'm not sure why we would want Lampe to take shots from behind the net...

Because there's been no scouting reports on him, and i've heard we arent going to work him out.

theres an article on Hoopsworld that says "The Raptors have publicly questioned Bosh's frame, saying he would never develop into a dominant inside player"
    that suks if its true.

Ive never been a fan of Bosh, Chris Kaman would be good for this team. TJ Ford is good but we don't need him at all, Alvin and Rafer can get the job done...

    who would you take then?

I like the russian guy, injury potential and all..
All I've seen of him is that video where he's running up and down the court, but that was enough for me

Dude, you guys need a better PG than alvin..and rafer? c'mon no one wanted him..raptors only signed him as they had too many injuried players.

TJ ford would be a good fit...

T.J. does sound like a perfect fit, but there seems to be more valuable players available at 4.
I think Alvin is a good player, but I hate seeing him run the offense, and at 6mil he's too expensive to be a sixth man

bosh could go 4th....but then again so could ford..TJ was college player of the year this past season afterall
