Ok the season is over..NBA finals is still going on but what do you think was the biggest surprise this season? hawks not making the playoffs surprised me with all that talent. Also in How well amare did in his rookie year..... What y'all think?
I have a bunch but here are a few...(i used some of the Playoffs too sorry) Celtics getting swept, I thought they would at least 6 games Pacers loosin to the Celtics.. Spurs loosing game one The Mavs blowing a freggin 30 point lead I agree with allnet Hawks not making the playoffs(all that money they have to give back) Bucks making the playoffs after they traded Ray :-x the Wizards not making the playoffs Wolves getting homecourt advantage Blazers almost coming back on the Mavs Webber getting hurt Dirk getting hurt Pistons getting swept Kobe gettin sugery Mavs loosing first game to Indiana(of all teams) Kings vs Lakers not the WCF Armare/Yao Not co-Rookies of the year Tim Duncan MVP alot more but there are too many to name...
amare and suns making the playoffs while sporting news and other mags has the suns finishing 28th out of 29th in league
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "deestillballin":</div><div class="quote_post"> Armare/Yao Not co-Rookies of the year Tim Duncan MVP </div> in order for them to be co-rookies, they'd have to get the same number of points. it didn't happen. what's surprising about Timmy being MVP? Yea, the Mavs 14-0 start was probably most surprising to me, followed by the Lakers bad start, Amare, Pistons winning all regular season overtime games (8 total?)
Garnett not getting MVP Lakers losing 2 to the T'Wolves (everyone thought they would sweep) How well Amare did after being under the radar in the draft And how Jordan was fuckked over
1. Lakers Terrible start and losing in playoffs 2. golden states great play 3. amare being such a dominant rookie picked at the 9 spot
-Point guard problems in Chicago. -Bulls road record (I didn't think it'd be that bad. -All the injuries w/ the Raptors
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "jdub":</div><div class="quote_post">amare being such a dominant rookie picked at the 9 spot</div> ^ is what i think the biggest surprise was.

Kidd and Hill were co-ROY's and had very different numbers.
here's a question I've been pondering on lol...if the Mavs didn't go 17-0 at the beginning...would they be a 60 win ball club?
