New York - A potential deal that would send Latrell Sprewell to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Wally Szczerbiak has long been rumored in New York. The New York Knicks have grown tired of Sprewell's antics and Sprewell has grown tired of playing out of position on the court. Szczerbiak, who stands 6-foot-7-inches, is a natural small forward that would fit in well with the Knicks' offense. However, to sweeten the deal, the Knicks could also get Terrell Brandon, who hasn't been healthy enough to play basketball the last two seasons. Minnesota is looking to offload Brandon's contract in return for some able-bodied players. Sprewell and possibly a player like second-year point guard Frank Williams fit that description pretty well.
ok do this trade draft day keep wally trade brandon to the heat get a 2nd rd pick in return then trade all 4 2nd round picks for the 4th pick get pavel and we would be straight c-pavel pf-dice sf-wally sg houston- hopfully can be traded for an athetic dunker pg- take your pick
hell yeah get rid of wally you knicks fans can have him but that wouldn't work finacially I don't think, not exactly sure what Spree is making a year but Terrell is slated to make 11.1 mil next year and Wally is making a nice salary to so there would have to be something else in that deal coming from NY.
this trade was discussed before when wally was a free agent, but it never went down. i don't think it's going to happen this time either. i think the t-wolves are going to make a move for ricky davis or jalen rose instead.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "sportsrock37":</div><div class="quote_post">it could be 29 2nd round picks, i wouldn't do it for pick #4.</div> I would do it for 29 picks. Then you could group them in 4's and trade them for the top 7 picks in the draft.
would you take 1 player thats really good or 3 that have the chance to be good? espessially for the raps they dont have alot of players

This has been rumoured for ages but that deal sounds realistic and it should happen. The Knicks dont want Spree at all which is why they got Nailon and are looking at Wally. Minny want to have more chance at a title and this trade does that.
i dont think wally is anywhere near as good as spree, but if they wanna get rid of spree, u gotta do what u gotta do
