I agree but... before anyone rips KG, KG is more likely to have a career best of 40 points and 15 asists than 100 points... he isnt that big of a scorer</div>

i know, that's the problem. it either of them play a sucky team and go into the game with the goal of scoring 100+ points, they could. i dont think they would, their goal is to do enough to win, nothing excessive

    The record is 30 even.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">btw i think mutombo might have had a quadruple double.</div>

I don't think Mutombo has even gotten close to quad double. The only players to get quad doubles are Fat Lever, Hakeem, and DRob. There is one other player but I can't think of his name right now. If they kept stats for blocks in Wilt's and Russel's early playing days they would probably have a few quad doubles.

*edit* and no Jason's Kidd's quadruple double (he had 10 turnovers) doesn't count.

*edit again* I just checked and Fat Lever never got one. The two guys besides DRob and Hakeem to get a quad double are Alvin Robertson and Nate Thurmond.

The NBA doesn't recognize it as an official quadruple double, therefore it doesn't count.

100 pts in a game, 31 assists, average a triple double, 55 boards, all these things will be close to impossible to break.

Hakeem, DRob, Nate Thurmond, and Alvin Robertson have gotten quad doubles. Duncan's performance was amazing, but it would be even sweeter if he was able to get the quad double.

31 assists is pretty extreme but it just seems like it is possible. players just have to shoot every time they get a pass from the player trying to do it and hope theyre having a decent shooting night. these days a player probably doesnt see fifty balls going his direction in the air let alne haul down much more than half of them
