dynasty is a 3 peat. i think that the bulls, celtics, lakers have had the dynasties. i think the next one will be the spurs or the kings or the mavs.

there's a lot of teams that could have a dynasty though, so i don't think that there will be a dynasty for awhile. kings mavs lakers spurs pistons nets magic pacers bulls nuggets cavs suns warriors blazers that's about half the teams in the league right there. and i know i'm forgetting some.

I don't get how a lot of people say the 80s Celts were a dynasty, yet the Lakers who just won three straight aren't. If I'm not mistaken that Celts also won just three championships in the 80s and they weren't consecutive like the Lakers were. Either consider them both a dynasty or consider them both not a dynasty.

I think Lakers had their own dynasty...although Celtics didn't win consecutively they're still considered a dynasty cause it was in the same age of time...
