My preference is he end up replacing Feidler in Miami. What does everyone else think?

    Tampa-Why?
    St. Louis-Why?
    Giants-WHy?

Miami-yea they spent a 2 on feely to play 2nd string, makes sense? u guys will like him

Arizona-i can see why you think that, or why he might but i honestly feel they will sign Gannon, read my post in the Zona forum

GB-thats just makes the most sense, tehy were going to trade for him, why not get him for free. he can learn from farve, and when the packers season is done by week 13 he can get playing time to play, and be sucesor to farve.

No way he ends up in Miami this year, Wanny is happy with the QBs he has(no one else would be, but he is)....if Couch is to become a Dolphins, it will next year after Wannstedt is fired...

I will tell you why he could end up in tampa. Cause look at gruden and allen they sign guys left and right only to eventually cut them. Griese isnt our answer and brad at some point could be cut for cap reasons. Tim couch could be a buc and i wouldnt be suprised. Also the packers may be the team in the hunt for couch. They dont have to trade for him now, all they have to do is sign him.

Hold on, now. Are you that confident GB will have HFA wrapped up by week 13, in order for Couch to get some PT?? I think they'll be pretty good, but not THAT good. Besides, Favre would still want to play those final games, so Couch will get no PT...he'll basically get paid to watch and get frostbite on the sidelines.

13-0, so then farve plays the first half and couch plays the second half.

When did the NFL switch to a 26 game schedule?

Matt, couch rumored to come into greenbay isnt to be the starting qb. Its to serve as bretts backup til he retires then he would be the packers future. Greenbay couldnt get a trade worked out before couch was released, well now they can sign him for the salery they wanted. Couch also has expressed interest in greenbay.

Um, yeah, I realize that Couch wouldn't be the starter. And if he's only interested in signing a 1 year deal, that doesn't bode well for his claim to "the packers future." And, GB had the trade all worked out with CLE for Couch, the thing that stopped the deal was GB wanting more than a 1 year deal if they were giving up a draft pick for him, not vice versa, i.e. the negotiations with Couch and his agent held up the deal, not the negotiations with the Browns. Whether they still want to sign him or not can still be an issue if length of contract is a hindrance, or amount of money if a bidding war happens.

If he only wants a one year deal, I can't see it being in Green Bay. Of course maybe he working on the "foot in the door" theory. If he's the only QB they have if Favre retires, they'll resign him to a big contract. I think he needs to try to catch on in Arizona, San Francisco, or Chicago.... then again players rarely go where they are needed.

i think san fran, arizona, detroit, chicago are probably the most viable possibilities in that order. I think he wants to start and in san fran he has best shot, arizona if mccown struggles, same with harrington in detroit. Chicago, but i think they may stick with grossman anyway so he can learn by playing.
