Dumb but interesting rumor

I remember hearing during the Nets/Pistons series that Tim Duncan could go to Orlando! I know he'll always be a Spur, but wouldn't that be funny?

why the hell would he want to go to magic? when he can win titles...and titles in san antonio

 

he just won a championship. he's not going anywhere

 

Don't get mad. I didn't start this rumor although as a T-Mac fan I'd love it for that to happen.

 

No one is getting mad here buddy.....just it's impossible to happen..your GM stated this season they can not afford him.

 

They wont be able to pry him away from the spurs.

 

Everybody doesn't stay just because your team win's a championship. Look at Glen Rice with the Lakers 3 years ago.

But then again, it's Tim Duncan, not Glen Rice. I just wanted to point that out.

 

Glen Rice wasnt producing enough for the Lakers likings... he was more rid of than just left IMO... and you right this is Duncan not Rice

 

Yea, same rumor happened the last time he was a FA. Magic would win the title too imagine this line-up

I think it is funny because I remember a few years ago that the Magic were going to make sure they had money to have TD and then John Gabriel screwed up and no more money.

 

I have a feeling that Duncan wants to stay in SA. He'll probably take less money if he had to (it won't come to that though)
