yeah, I think so too... but will he force it the hard way? that will make him very unpopular in his home country...
why is it that all these foreign organizations want money for the big players we want? Yao did it, now Darko? i wouldn't be surprised if we had to pay 6 mill to get him...maybe more than that

so the question is that how will we satisfy the European/Serbian team that Darko is on...money is the keyword, but they might make it harder than that...I can't believe they're doing this!
If I owned a team in Europe I would do the same thing. Basketball is a big business and they feel as if they own the players. So when a player wants to leave to go to America they don't want to lose the player for nothing, they want compensation. Think of it like free-agency in a way. Some teams don't want to lose a guy for nothing so they re-sign the guy and trade him for some people. It's the same thing in Europe basically, they don't want to lose Darko for nothing.

(we got his rights in the 2nd round last year)
Melo didn't work-out with pistons because he thought we were taking darko so he thpught..why bother to work-out with them?....that guy needs a rattle....this darko thing will be cleared up soon.. we don't need melo....
Did he refuse to work out with the Pistons? That is very low for him if he did, there is a great chance he could get picked by the Pistons organization, and to play for a great team and a hall of fame coach. Very stupid move by him if that's the truth.
He cancelled his work-out..because he thought there was no point with darko being ahead of him..what a crybaby..geesh even chris bosh worked out and pistons were impressed....but he likely knew who would go at number 2...but did it anyway
