    thats why he is trying to pull a trade off with the pic he wants to save his ass so the teams wins this year to get a contract he does nt care about the future.

    Meanwhile, Raptors GM Glen Grunwald said the talks, reported yesterday in the Toronto Star, was "off base". However, since failing to ship Sprewell to Toronto for Antonio Davis at the Feb. 20 trading deadline, it's been evident Layden would try to package Sprewell with the first-round pick on Draft Night in the same way he packaged Marcus Camby with their first-rounder last June.
