    Lampe has contract issues with his international team. Two years left on his contract with an option by the team for an extension I think. The buyout is supposed to be huge. With Vujanic already bailing on the Knicks they probably don't want to take another risk with a foreign player who will probably never play for them.

    Weis. Vujanic. Lampe. Foreign players the Knicks selected in the draft. The first two will probably never play for them. The last one has a great chance of not playing for them.

    Im not readin every post on this thread but I think the reason Lampe droped outta the first was because his contract issues with his current team... and in the 2nd round you are not gaurenteed money so it would be a good time to take him

    why gaurentee a player money when your not going to be gaurenteed to have him...

    Its because his old team might take him back, so whoever drafts him is taking a risk
