Please try not to be bias and go from a neutral standpoint. With that being said, what follows will probably sound bias.

Suns- A. They went into the draft with two needs and one draft pick. The needs were get a backup for Marion and get a backup for Marbs so they wouldn't have to play as many minutes as they did this past season. So as mentioned before, they only had one draft pick, but managed to fill both needs. Zarko is a guy that is seven feet, but he can play the SF position, which is where he is most comfortable at. Then the Suns traded a future first rounder for Barbosa. I really like him as a point guard prospect and he fills the need as a backup for Marbs. So they get two really quality players and fill all the needs they had going in the draft.

    Lakers-

We drafted a Power Foward and that is what we neaded. Luke Walton is a smart player.

Im not going to just do my favs, im gonna do a little more:

Spurs-B: I thought it was a great choice to trade the draft pick (barbosa) because it seems now Speedy Claxton will return as backup PG who has already proven himself to be a key reserve. Nothing from the draft really could fill the Spurs needs, and with all the money they have it would be useless. The best options are looking at the free agent market will all the big names out there (JO, Brand, Kandi) -to fill the center spot, or PF if Duncan decides to go to C.

    Possible roster next season:

    PG-Tony Parker/Speedy Claxton
    SG-Stephen Jackson (re-signed)/Manu Ginobili
    SF-Bruce Bowen/FA/
    PF-Tim Duncan(prefer playing PF)/Jermaine O'neal/
    C-Malik Rose/Michael Olowakandi

Raptors-B: The fourth pick was a very hard pick to chose from, with big names like TJ Ford and Chris Kaman hovering over the expected Chris Bosh. Finally the decision was made with Bosh who will take time to develop, however the only bad part about the draft was the second round (52nd pick). For most people this pick would mean nothing however with all the trade rumours comming towards TO something had to be done to possibly get a future reserve. Cadidates available were SG Carl English who averaged 19ppg in Hawaii could (down the road) be a backup to Vince. Another shooting guard Drew Nicholas from Maryland also averaged 19ppg this year, and of course, 6'6 guard Marquis Daniels. They decided (stupidly) to select a Spanish center to be traded for Matt Bonner.

    Possible roster next season:

    PG-Alvin Williams/Rafer Alston
    SG-Vince Carter/Voshon Lenard(resigned)/Carl English(FA pickup)
    SF-Lamond Murray/Morris Peterson
    PF-Antonio Davis/Chris Bosh/Jerome Williams/Michael Bradley
    C-Antonio Davis/Michael Bradley

Sonics-A: With the 12th and 14th pick Seattle could not have made a better choice. Their lack of productivity from the PF spot could be resolved as Nick Collison was drafted 12th, who averaged 18.5ppg 10rpg in his stay at Kansas. He will provide some more scoring and definitley improve their rebounding. With the 14th pick PG Luke Ridnour was selected who is very quick and can score (19.5ppg), his only improvements that should be made are on the defensive side.

    Possible roster next season:

    PG-Luke Ridnour/Brent Barry
    SG-Ray Allen/Brent Barry/Ronald Murray
    SF-Rashard Lewis/Vladimir Radmanovic
    PF-Nick Collsion/Vitaly Potapenko
    C-Elden Cambell/Jerome James

Jazz B- Williams was a great second round pick, but Pavlovic could be a bust. He is a scorer, which is what the Jazz need, though they dont need another swingman they can play him at SG. But it's possible he could be the next Andrei Kirilenko, or Dirk [IMG]

Suns - A By selecting Darko they have two young big men wfrom which to choose their center. Tsakalidis isnt that bad but I think Zarko will be better. they can either trade Tsakalidis to a team thats interested for some scoring depth at forward or a shooting guard or they can keep jake for depth and do the same with zarko if he turns out not to be as good as theyd hoped. i gave them an A because even though zarko is no gaurentee they couldnt have done much better as there wasnt a beter big man or guard availble at their position.

    Kings- incomplete

Celtics - B The Celtics made some moves to get the players they had their eyes on from the start. first the traded the rights to troy bell for marcus banks. He had decent numbers and will benefit from 4 years of college experience. similar to phoenixs center situation they now have the luxury of choosing the best point guard between Banks and JR Bremer who had a strong rookie season. They should both end up decent NBA contributors if not strong starters and either one could potentially be traded for a presence down low in the long run if they show promise. Speaking of down low presences the celtics also traded down for kendrick perkins. Hes a high schooler and will clearly be a long term project and is undersized for an NBA center but could interest some teams as a trade possibility. The Celtics grade wont be clear for a couple of years i suppose but it this point i think it may have been wiser to take Zarko who was available at 16 or just keep Troy Bell and just put Pierce at Small Forward where he may belong. Tehy could even have taken Zarko and hoped that bell slipped to 20 which was a strong possiibility.

Houston - D They got Malick Badiane at 44. hell be a fair backup at forward or center at best. not like their was much better available.

I think Seattle did the best of anyone today. I cant wait to see Collison and Ridnor with Allen a few years down the road. too bad the y dont still have desmond mason, although the Bucks did a good job finding a future replacement for payton and cassell. ford could end up better than cassell. Memphis also did a great job overcoming the embarrassment of losing their shot at darko or carmelo

    Lakers - C

They didn't gamble on any prospects and picked 2 solid players. Neither player has star potential and will be average role players on the Laker roster. Average players require an average grade, so the Lakers get a C. They will be a nice upgrade over the current bench mob in Los Angeles. Bill Walton must be the happiest man alive.

yea. it depends on wat your standard is. if your grading on how good the player u get is then only the top thre teams get a ver y high greade for now. I think if you grade by whether your team got the best player availalble the grade scale tends to go up

    Celtics B-

If what the Celtics Director of Player personnel, Leo Papile, says is true about Marcus Banks, then Boston did well to acquire "the fastest PG in the draft".

Second acquisition in the 1st round pick Boston needed a big man, they got a big boy. At least I can pronounce his name.

Hey, even Brandon Hunter, their second round pick may contribute something down the road.

    Timberwolves - C

McHale made a lot of Timberwolves mad with the 1st round pick(me being one of them) and Rickert is over rated.

Howard adds some size and defense to their roster....do the Mavs have a SF now?
    PG- Nash
    SG- Finley
    SF- Howard?
    PF- Dirk
    C- Lafrentz
is that roster appealing to anyone?

Pistons A+-got darko who is a great talent....everyone knew where he was going before the draft started.....also getting Carlos Delfino a good shooter that could be a defensive stopper...will help our already improved defence.......he may not be over straight away..that may not be a bad thing..as we have seen players who were drafted and came over a few years later and were a great impact..our other pick Andreas Gliniadakis i don't know much about this kid..but hopfully i will soon...all 3 joining a very good team..i'm happy 8)

Yeah i found it..here is what ESPN graded it as

    Detroit Pistons

    Round 1: Darko Milicic, F, Serbia-Montenegro (No. 2)
Round 1: Carlos Delfino, G, Italy (No. 25)
Round 2: Andres Gliniadakis, C, Greece (No. 58)

How many teams with the best record in their conference end up with the best big man in the draft and a draft-night steal in Carlos Delfino? By now, you know about Darko, but Delfino will also be important down the road. He's tough, a strong shooter and plays aggressive defense. He reminds me a lot of Michael Finley. He could play an immediate role on the Pistons if he stays here next year. Gliniadakis was a nice pickup at the end of the draft. He's a 7-footer who can actually play. The Pistons will leave him in Greece for a few years and bring him over when he's ready.
    Grade: A+

Delfino is a steal? DAMN!! and is like michael finley?...joe D is a god...
