<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "raptors21":</div><div class="quote_post">all net do you no anything about the greece center your team drafted.</div> I don't know much about him i must admit..i know about our first two picks of course but not about this guy...all i know is that he played in greece and averaged around 9.5 PPG...i don't know his game well..but i will do some research and find out...
He last played for Peristeri in Greece, in the 1st division. Last year he played in the Greek 2nd division.
He likely won't be over for a few years though...which is good as then he can make his game better..like manu did
i think thats why the raps got bonner so remon or what ever his name is can stay over seas for a year or two.
I don't understand why they call Remon van de Hare a stiff and this Gliniadakis guy a real good pick, it's not like this Greek guy is an outstanding player in Greece.. he didn't even start on his team... Simply said, they are both projects, and both have chances to develop so they can play in the NBA... or we may never hear from them again...
here is abit more about our last two picks <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Delfino, an early entry candidate for the 2003 NBA Draft, previously applied for early entry into 2001 NBA Draft, but withdrew his name from consideration. He began his professional career playing in his native Argentina in 1998-99 and moved to Italy in 2000. In three seasons in the Italian A-1 League, the first two with Reggio Calabria and the final season with Skipper Bologna in 2002-03, Delfino averaged 10.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.06 steals in 81 games. Gliniadakis, a 7-1 center form Greece, was a teammate of current Pistons player Zeljko Rebraca with Panathinaikos in 2000-01. In 2002-03 with Peristeri Athens (A1) of the FIBA Champions Cup, averaged 6.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists in nine games. In 2001-02 with Panellinois Athens, Gliniadakis averaged 11.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 26 games. </div>
Raptors - The raps drafted a player that may take up to 3 years to develope. He is a power forward and the raps have more then enough power forwards (jyd, bradley, davis and now bosh) We should of drafted TJ Ford, to take away alvin williams minutes. B- Franchise, we didnt trade RVDH for Matt Bonner, we traded our future second rounder.
knicks A i never thaught i would say this but layden delevered we got sweetney with the 9th and a knock out steal with lampe at 30...28 teams will want to kill them selves when magic lamp shoots lights out against the teams that passed up on them...and lampe WILL play either this season or next season, and then whe got varnes with the 39th pick...all i have to say is"this guy is tall" he is a steal-he is a defensive monster and his offenseve game is coming around nets get a B+ they got a 6'7 pg in zoran but they had a perfect net with krover but i suspect the reason why they traded him was to give kidd more money or have some money to sign ZO for the minimum
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "Dr. Funk":</div><div class="quote_post">Lampe may go back to play in poland, thats why no teams wanted to waste there time with him.</div> he doesnt want to but his team does....i suspect they will buy out his contract there but after 2 years this is good because it gives him a chance to develop
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "J-MAC":</div><div class="quote_post">Lakers- We drafted a Power Foward and that is what we neaded. Luke Walton is a smart player. A</div> couldnt of said it bettr
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Lakers - C They didn't gamble on any prospects and picked 2 solid players. Neither player has star potential and will be average role players on the Laker roster. Average players require an average grade, so the Lakers get a C. They will be a nice upgrade over the current bench mob in Los Angeles. Bill Walton must be the happiest man alive.</div> Now he can get on Kobe's nuts and his son's at the same time, wow he must be the happiest man alive.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "allnet":</div><div class="quote_post">Pistons A+-got darko who is a great talent....everyone knew where he was going before the draft started.....also getting Carlos Delfino a good shooter that could be a defensive stopper...will help our already improved defence.......he may not be over straight away..that may not be a bad thing..as we have seen players who were drafted and came over a few years later and were a great impact..our other pick Andreas Gliniadakis i don't know much about this kid..but hopfully i will soon...all 3 joining a very good team..i'm happy 8)</div> of course. The Pistons always get an A+ even if they drafted the next sam bowie and purvis ellison because God-- i mean joe dumars is infallable.
