I guess the whole non-bias thing didn't work out. I'm seeing A+ and As and Bs for teams with crappy drafts. Knicks235, you're giving the Knicks an A for getting another undersized big man, a guy who is really tall and not much else, and the other guy I like so I won't fault them for that. I'm dropping the Suns' grade down to a B because I really wanted them to take a chance on Lampe like they did for Big Jake. Someone on insidehoops made a good point, if the NBA can get Yao Ming from China I'm pretty sure they can get Lampe from Spain. It just depends on how much the NBA front offices get into things.

He has his contract with Poland and $350,000 is the maximum amount of money an NBA team can spend to buy out a contract for a foreign player. I dont know how much his contract is worth but I dont expect him to play in the NBA for at least two years. If he was going to play within the next two years then I would have expected him to go higher in the draft. The funny thing is that last night he didnt even know that the international basketball association( FIBA) hadnt cleared him to play in the NBA.

whats silly about it? when people grade how teams did on the draft..every top 3 pick will get a A grade....but like it matters.....was anyone else disssapointed there were no big trades?
i just think u grade based on how well your team did with the picks they had. The pistons got one of the four best players but they passed on carmelo and bosh when they already have a great center

You can't pass up a big man like darko..you just can't...we don't really need melo...there are loads of guys like him..but not many like darko..thats the thought behind it..darko will play PF or center....
not many like melo. there are plenty of big moderate speeded european big man with decent shooting range and no power under stfinling defense. carmelo is a special player
Not the point, you said every team in the top three will get an A. The Warriors didn't get an A by drafting Chris Washburn number three. The 76ers didn't get an A by drafting Bradley two. The Clippers with Kandi Man one. The Warriors with Jo Smith one. You have to look at the other picks too. With that being said I'd give the Pistons a high B to low A. *edit* Make that a solid A, but not no damn A+
