turns out it may not be such a long shot after all. they can offer him a lot of money and now with carmello added u can bet melo and hilario and howard if he stays and stays healthy would become a much better supporting cast than kidd has in jersey for a championship

It would be a great move to have those 3 running the show..but this is not a good idea if kidd wants a title straight away..

thats a great point. and theyre better without kidd. imagine how better theyll be with kidd. maybe theyll be the same except for the fact theyll be winnign games

I said if he wanted a title straight away..and in the west it will be ALOT more tougher...and kidd is not known for doing much in the playoffs when in the west...

 

yes but if he goes to an east team he flat out wont win a title straight away. the playoffs are tougher in the west but thats because the competition is tougher. Being in the east only gives him a shot at the finals going to a west team even denver will give him a ligit shot at the title. so what if he has to beat sac/la etc. the road to the title goes thru them anyway

 

I don't see nuggets being a playoff team for another 3 years at least...kidd wants a title straight away....dallas would be the best option for him

 

if he went to denver theyd have as good a shot at the playoffs as anyone and would be better than almost every east team.

 

The Nugs have the components to be a power in the West with Kidd. They got the big froncourt player needed (Nene), they got the gunner (Melo), and they'll have the leader (Kidd). They can probably trade Skita now that they have Melo to play SF to get a SG. Thing is that they probably need more depth.

 

I heard it was a real longshot of Kidd going there, and NJ, San An and Dallas are the leaders now.

But yeah, Skita is a great prospect and they could probably get a good SG for him.

 

yes those were the prilimanary reports but it turns out they may not be such a long shot at all. Signing Carmelo certainly helps (and the new unis doesnt hurt either). the nuggets would be a better team with kidd than the nets are and can offer him money so he wont pick NJ over denver. however dallas and san anotonio still have a great chance to sign him

He won't but Joumana would. Can't forget about her when discussing where Kidd will go.

 

Joumana wants to go wherever she get on more tv cameras. the nuggets are a more marketable team in a better sportcity. granted NJ is near new york but they have a hard time selling out PLAYOFF games. with carmelo and kidd denver fans will rock the place and joumana can continue to exel her showbiz career as long as jason doesnt damage her pretty face again

 

If nuggets didn't sell out games last year..with kidd and melo they sure as hell would now
