The Celtics after all the commotion that they need a down low presence have taken Kendrick perkins outof high school. A puzzeling move to say the least as the celtics are trying to contend right now and even the celtics front office admites that perkins is two or three years away at the very soonest. He might not even have the size and the skills to be a star in the league ever but someone mustve thought hes pretty special as the celtics drafted him probably only cause they feared some one else would if they didnt which may or may not be true. i think he shouldve gone to college to develope his game. Jim Obrien likes to play veteran players in a playoff race and u can tblame him but by the time perkins reaches his prime Pierce and Walker may already be finished. what do u think of this pick and perkins. how fast willl he develope? will he ever be a star in this league? will he ever help the celtics or will they just give up on him

That was a good pick in my eyes. Perkins is big and a real power forward. He is a big man that your team could use.

they dont need a power forward. Walker is an all star who doesnt always play were PFs play but probably shouldnt be at any other position because hed be too big for half the SFs to gaurd and too quick for the others. The Celtics need a center. a down low presence. perkins might not be big or skilled enough to be a starting Center on a championship team. hes not a special player

They couldn't have taken Zarko, The Grizz wanted Bell and Jones with their picks. They could have taken Schortiansis instead of Perkins
