Is it the money or the bright future? However with all this being said they can end up with only one or none of the free agents they want ala the Bulls a couple years ago when all they signed as worthless Eddie Robinson when they were hoping for a big name. Brand and maggette are restricted so the Clips can match the offer and keep them (yes I know Sterling isn't known for being a big spender, but this is a possibillity). Kidd seems more likely to go somewhere else, and there is a big chance Gilbert can stay with Golden State.
Damn you maggette!!! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What has made Denver so enticing to go to now? Is </div> Because nuggets have marcus camby..the guy is a legend, but the fact he plays so many games might worry the big name players about their minutes per game
the $ and also kiki is a gm a lot of players respect and would want to play for. living in denver is nice, too, especially if you like the outdoors.
the outdoors... do you see Kandiman go fishing? No man.. the outdoors have always been there... and nobody wanted to play.. but now they have plenty of FA money.. and suddenly half the Clippers team is on the flight to Mile High City...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "magicfrankie":</div><div class="quote_post">No man.. the outdoors have always been there...</div> haha. well said. weather is gonna influence plenty of FA's. I heard JO wants to play where it's warmer. I can't imagine anyone wanting to play in Utah. There's NOTHING there.

Uhmm.. I was in Bryce Canyon National Park last year, that was really beautiful, so to say that there's nothing...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "magicfrankie":</div><div class="quote_post">Uhmm.. I was in Bryce Canyon National Park last year, that was really beautiful, so to say that there's nothing...</div> that's not gonna make anyone wanna play there
People like Denver because A. C.R.E.A.M. B. They have a good group of younger players in Carmelo Anthony, Nene Hilario and Skita (plus a couple of tradeable prospects). C. All the pressure this year will be on 'Melo. A guy like Magette can just do his thing and if he's a star, people will love him. If he's not or the team struggles all eyes are on 'Melo and Anthony takes the heat. D. The Nuggets front office has made a couple of saavy moves over the last few years and as one former Clipper told me (after signing with his new team); It is nice, secure to know management probably isn't going to f*ck up your team today.
well i would want to play for denver. they have a good future ahead of them. they have the center and sf of the future already and probably pf(skita). with loads of cap room. btw just so u guys know. it is warm down in orlando for jermaine 8)
